I had no idea what this was even about when I started am I glad because I’ll be honest I might have put it off for a later date if I had known. I don’t say that because it has anything that bothers me in it but because I have to be in the mood for high drama and I would have just assumed this would be exactly that. Thankfully it wasn’t, well it was but not in the way I expected which is what I enjoyed so much about this book! I spent the whole book waiting for the big reveal and I’m so glad it wasn’t as BIG as I expected. Yes that is vague but I’m trying not to spoil it by explaining what I liked the most lol. This book is one you start and finish in the same day, it’s very fast and never really slowed down. The sex was hot, the story line hard and the characters were great! And here is the kicker for anyone who knows me.... it’s insta-love/lust and I didn’t even care after a couple chapters. If an author can make me feel insta-love then they have done a great job because it’s really a hard no for me normally. I can’t wait for more books on audio by the author!

The narration was great, Ava Erickson & Tad Branson were cast very well for this book!

Pierce-your-soul good

I have been in a constant state of book hangover for weeks after finishing one of the best books I’ve ever read and nothing could pull me out until Dark Notes. The depth of character, sensuality, passion, danger and devotion between H&H were intriguing. This is definitely a book I will come back to again and again to rediscover the love a strong young woman who has every reason to be weak and the devoted and gentle love of a dangerous and dominant man.

This was my first book purchase and I love it. After reading this book I came to the rabbit hole 🕳️ of dark romance, omg I love it. Pam Godwin is one of my favorite.

Narrators were great. The love story is amazing. I wish it was more a slow burn

loved this book sooo much! great characters, hot sex, the music choices of emmerich and ivory...amazing! I wanted to be disgusted at her age and the inappropriate relationship...but just couldn't. Ava Erickson and Tad Branson were perfect. Ive listened to others with Ava narrating and she does a great job. Such a romantic and sexy book. Looking forward to more from this author!
