The cohesion of the plot!
Love the way the story binds the previous characters with the ones showcased in this book. Incredible storytelling abilities on I T Lucas and the talented narrator’s ability to color the world of immortals. 5 Star plus!

I’m at the edge of my seat!
Once again I am sucked into this incredible world that Lucas has painted for us! I’ve never been so entertained by any book series & continually amazed by this Author’s ability to introduce new characters & constantly keep me begging for more. I’d write a longer review but I absolutely have to start the next book, I can’t stand the suspense!!🤣🤣

Could not stop listening
Kian is struggling with so many heavy issues. The three potential Dormants. The ten paranormal talents that he’d left behind, which bothered. Then there was Kalugal to worry about, a powerful immortal who might become either an ally or an enemy. Then there’s becoming a father.
We finally get to see more about Kalugal. He does archeological digs and collecting Sumerian artifacts. His original goal had been to find more information about the gods and their technology. Navuh believes Annani one of the gods tablets she took with her when she escaped.
Poor Vlad and Wendy. They both struggle really badly with lack of confidence and feeling out of place with other’s.
A team is sent to San Francisco to steak out Kalugal. Jin and Jackie are sent in to get Jin to tether to Kalugal.
Ok so I don’t want to write the last bit.
What I do want to say is THIS IS A MUST LISTEN/READ!!!!

Narrator
Please don't ever change the narrator Charles Lawrence he just brings the children of the gods story to life. I have read each book my self but go back and get the audio book to hear Charles Lawrence take on each voice he gives out. He just makes the story all the more enjoyable.

Adrenaline rush!
This is one of the best ones that I’ve listened to so far so exciting! Jin and Arwell finally go on their mission to encounter Kalugal,. of course things never go as planned and that’s where the excitement begins! Jacki plays a huge role in all of this! If you have not listened to you are missing out !
