The Incident on the Train
One man, a Weathered military-looking individual, suddenly succumbs to a fatal seizure. The other, a sallow-faced stranger, makes a hasty escape. Our barrister protagonist is the only witness, and hence, becomes deeply entrenched in a mystery of identity and murder amidst the iconic backdrop of 20th-century London.
The Investigation
As Langdon deepens his inquisition, he unravels a tangled web of deceit, including a potentially lethal chemical formula and a series of betrayals. His pursuit not only leads him to denizens of the London underworld but also to the surprising involvement of the deceased’s own granddaughter, Rhona.
