Just what I needed!

After being in an unhealthy and toxic relationship with a non-recovering alcoholic for 15 years THIS book was just what I needed. Real life advice on what is acceptable and what is unacceptable. How to try to fix it or walk away. Things my mom and step mom could not provide for me along with journey because they chose “the boy pretending to be a man” so how could they help me with mine?! I suggest this book for any woman wondering if the relationship they are in is worth the effort they are putting forth. This book offered massive clarity and action steps.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I would also focus on the other side of things, what women do wrong as well. This book comes across as very biased towards women being right and men being wrong. Even myself, as a woman, knows that there are 2 sides.

Would you recommend Deal Breakers to your friends? Why or why not?

I would because it discusses how you know things are deal breakers for you, how to spot them easily and how to be ok with breaking it off with the person who is breaking the deal. It also talks about how to know if it is worth working on.

The author does clarify at the end in an interview that she has met many men who were more the victims in their relationships and the women were the bullies, but that she just wanted to primarily focus on the one side.

This book is absolutely amazing. Qute literally had to sit down at some parts becsuse she took the words out of the exes mouth and I was stunned. Great to work on yourself or just be aware of what not to accept in relationships

Alternate title suggestion, "Crazy No More" lol.

This books will shine clarity on all the little things you KNOW are just not feeling right but can't quite put your finger on.

Furthermore, it does so in a compassionate, nonjudgemental, empowering approach as it offers concrete solutions.

Light Weight, Superficial, Waste of Time and Money

What disappointed you about Deal Breakers?

No substance. It was as though a high school teenie bopper wrote this. Boring, uninsightful, based on nothing more than light weight observations.

Has Deal Breakers turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, there are some really good books, but don't waste time on phony, money making junk like this.
