back up girl is a term I never knew existed. it was an eye opener for me, I have been seeing this guy for almost 2 years and up until I listened to this book, I had no idea that was the role I had been up until I listened to this audible book. I am done with playing that role ! I want and deserve so much better! and to avoid any nonsense I'm going to block the guy on my phone and social media's! I know my worth! thank u for reminding me♡

Really enjoyed all the information in this book. I wish I would’ve found it a decade ago. I will definitely be applying these guidelines in my dating going forward. Thank you so much. Only thing I wish was more elaborated or advised on would be navigating the timeline of intimacy during the dating process and when is the “right” time (other than when you’re “ready”) to engage. All in all super helpful!!

Eye opener

This book was eye-opening. The only time I had been ghosted was at the prime age of 40. I was so out of the loop; I didn't even know what ghosting was. This book brings some hard truths to how I handled the situation and how I should have. It's a short audiobook and well worth the listen.

so real that I cried good tears..

I've always been taught Even at a young age that the truth will set you free. somehow that jargon always stuck in my mind. April whose me how people would rather be lied to than to pick up a book like this that's going to give you the roar on adulterated truth. I've always been into younger men something about their energy. some people will say that it's disgusting but I've had some pretty good relationships with them. Knowing a little bit about the universe I also know that you can have whatever you want in this world but you have to be specific. recently I asked the universe to bring me a younger man that would fall head over heels for me and would almost be my soulmate like he's been here before. I worked on myself became the person that I wanted to attract that also had to keep it real with myself in every aspect of this dangerous dating game. I knew that my request to the universe could either make me or break me. in society cougars haven't got their full flowers yet. This book made everything that I already know perfectly clear. Yes I met Mr McDreamy and yes he's much younger than me. I made it perfectly clear that I didn't want to be his mother his best friend his side piece or his placeholder. As much as my heart hurt because of the stars that went in my eyes when I looked at him I followed my true feelings and pay( still in the present tense) close attention to the things he did and does, not the things he said. And I still am.. months later. Everything that was said in this book is the unadulterated truth about a man. and if it all ended today as much as I love him..I live him enough to want him to be happy. even if that's not with me.I will send several copies. to women that I think will benefit from this writing. Thank you so much for writing this book and confirming a lot of the things that I already knew and also teaching me a lot of things that I did. not.. I listen to it all in one night and it was so worth it. Thank you so much for this. I will remember it and listen to it over and over again if I have to. Because I can't give somebody what I don't have for myself. Yet I will first fill my cup until the love and respect I have for others.. runneth over to the one that was created extremely exclusive for me.. I'm so worth it and I can definitely wait.
