Publisher's summary

Men. They all come from the big genetic whirlpool of dysfunction central and their brains are all wired the same when it comes to women.

“I’ll text her when I get around to it, in a day or two. Three if she’s lucky.” “Maybe I’ll call her in a few days. Wouldn’t want her to think we were getting too close.” “I like her, but she isn’t a top priority, or even a middle priority. She’ll be there when I choose to get in contact with her. I’m not worried.”

From one failed relationship after another, I made it my mission to get inside the heads of men to find out what really made them tick when it came to pursuing a woman. My goal was to help women take their lives and their power back when the guy they liked behaved badly. I wanted to empower them by teaching the concept of #Delete.

Did the guy you like suddenly “Ghost” you? #Delete.

Did it take him two weeks to reply to your text message which involved you asking him a question? #Delete.

Did he promise to call you in a day or two and then went MIA?” #Delete.

Did the two of you have a scheduled date and he cancelled thirty minutes before it was about to happen? Or worse yet, not show up at all? #Delete.

My name is Eloise Moore and this my story of how #Delete and one nasty text message sent to the wrong number changed my life forever. #Delete is a stand-alone novel told in two POV’s: Eloise Moore & Christian Blake.

Brilliant concept

This book is so relevant for today’s dating. How many times do men do that “I’ll call you” after a date or encounter with women and never text or call. All the while the women are sitting by their phone waiting. Eloise is one kick ass heroine, she’s strong, independent, mature and doesn’t want to waste time on men who aren’t interested in her. Or the men are waiting to see if someone better will come along. I love the book, it’s a brilliant concept and so worth reading.

Brilliant

Never get tired of listening or reading Sandi's books.

This is a brilliant book Eloise breaks up with her boyfriend but delete his number by she knew his number except for one digit. She put in a random number with the hope it was as his but it wasnt.

She had text a random stranger but never have their real names. Christian Blake was a big CEO in advertising and seen work that Eloise has done and hired her to work on a big campaign taking the photos.

Christian went over to Eloise place to look at the photos plus he hadn't heard from digits all day so excused himself to use the bathroom and he text her then he realised it was Eloise who was digits.

When they both started to go out with one another he had given her a different number. So one Pacific day digits wasn't getting any messages. While she was in a meeting with Christian he left his phone in the office and digits was texting him so Eloise realised she was texting Christian all along.

Story had potential - Sub par narration....

I was looking forward to reading this story because I love the texting love connection type stories and the overall plot was pretty cute. I did listen to the whole thing. I didn't hate the book, but I also didn't love. I just kind of hung in there out of mild curiosity. The narration definitely leaves little to be desired. The woman's voice was ok at first, but her impressions of her other friends made them sound manly and her inflections and the emotions she was putting behind her thoughts and dialogue felt very off from what I would assume the author was trying to portray through the writing.
The man was absolutely terrible, I hate to be harsh with criticism, but it really felt so dry and not emotional at all. His dialogue was completely flat and did not engage me with his character at all. He sounded like he was reading out of a history book instead of conveying a love story.
The narration was so bad I had to stop listening and simply read parts because I was getting all the wrong emotions and feelings from their interpretation.
I did not really feel any connection at all with the characters which is a bummer and I am sure it has to be caused by a mixture of the story telling and narration. There wasn't really an appropriate amount of character development in my opinion.
So all-in-all, I didn't hate it, but didn't love it either.
