About this listen

Trapped in the body of the murderous Zara the Fury, our hero might not know her real name, but she knows how to play a game—or so she thought.

The world of Knights of Eternity is no simple dungeon-crawler with damsels in distress. The tyrannical god Calamity treats the world as his chess board, a knight is faced with the chance to change his fate, and cryptic quests promise our hero overwhelming power.

But the real Zara the Fury wants her body back. And she'll do whatever it takes to get it.

Welcome to the world of Knights of Eternity—a LitRPG adventure where power has a price.

Chuirc Doesn't Miss

Coming in hot off book 1, I had high hopes for Desecrate. This book took those hopes, laughed in my face, and told me to aim higher next time. Phenomenal storytelling, deeply complex characters, and way more twists than I expected. Things I was sure would be saved til Book 3 came to light here, which just makes me that much more excited for the next one. If you're still on the fence, this is your sign. Buy the book. It isn't often you get the chance to experience the next big thing before it actually becomes big.

Pacing, magic system, and story building

this was such an amazing books, probably one of my favorite series of all time. this book picks up directly where left off in the first in every chapter feels like I'm reading what should be a movie or TV show, it is so amazing I feel like I'm in this world with these characters and I'm part of their lives. 10/10 have read and listened twice now

the spectacular writing!!

Just as good if not better then the first, this sequal has it all! Twists, turns, closure and new questions all while displaying some of the best characters I've ever heard in a world that eagerly enraptures the reader!!! An absolute must listen/read for anyone!!

Calamity will Fall

Knights of Eternity continues to be my top series of the year. This book takes everything I loved about the first book and improves it tenfold. The character development for our {system error} is fantastic, as we see her grow from the anxiety driven teenager to not backing down and finally embracing her inner hero. Rachel has taken this world I have fell in love with and shown me a whole new side while also showing a new side to our villain as well. I am very excited to see what she has in store for us in Divinity!

Too much time spent on an unlikeable character.

The antagonist is very unlikeable, as they tend to be, but his progress is not fun or entertaining. He just has a million unexplained trinkets and powers that are only exposed to conveniently win fights. About half of the story is spent covering a really crappy character. The protagonist is coolish but has anxiety attacks, when it is convenient for the story, but their story is interrupted so frequently by a really crappy character and there is basically no development to speak of. I have made it through the first book and pretty far in the second but I am having a hard time continuing.

Good, but...

Okay, the story is written well. The issues come down to switching to too many character so rapidly. Especially since the MC seems to have less time being the MC. Once I finish the story I will update with the other, I believe, issue.

Almost didn't leave a review

In book 1 Lysander got me through it pretty easily despite not even being the MC but book 2 is even more all over the place, and because of that it just kinda fails to draw me in.

Ps: This isn't a complaint about switching view points like I have seen in some other reviews. Rather, it is about the story not really feeling like it is going anywhere.
