Publisher's summary
The new thriller from the bestselling author of The Perfect Holiday, which will have fans of Lucy Clarke and T M Logan gripped.
You’d die to stay here. But would you kill to?
As soon as you first see the house, a former hotel in a picturesque enclave of the Cypriot hills, you know this abandoned resort is the perfect home for you – with breath-taking views, a refreshing pool, and peace and quiet, away from the rest of the world. A place to recover and grow.
But paradise isn’t cheap, and as the debts mount, you could lose everything you've worked so hard for.
Until someone makes you an offer: to keep your home, all you have to do is take a life.
But you could never do that… could you?

And she certainly never knew that her medical school earned the nickname Dead Med thanks to the tragic history of students overdosing on illegal drugs. But Heather would never consider doing anything like that. That is, until her longtime boyfriend dumps her, she finds herself failing anatomy, and her world starts to crumble.

Six years later, John returns to Atlanta to discover the truth. Innocent Blood is both a standalone thriller and the true first book in an electrifying series. And in Power in the Blood, John Jordan, now a prison chaplain in the Florida Panhandle, witnesses the bloody death of Potter Correctional Institution inmate Ike Johnson. But what exactly did he witness? Murder, accident, or suicide?

Highly Entertaining
I was pleasantly surprised by this book.
There is thorough and in depth character development, there is a true “sense of place” established.
Although it does challenge one to suspend disbelief repeatedly and throughout, it’s still a highly effective, entertaining mystery.
The narration is exquisite, it truly could not have been any better.
This book is definitely worth a credit, get through the first few chapters and just go with it, let it take you and you won’t be disappointed that you did.
I really enjoyed this one.
