Now, a new threat of elven magic is drawing near. Gor'del and his changeling companion, Morkar, are on the search for an elf known as “the awakened.”
Only the awakened has the power to restore elven magic, and they must be stopped. As they search, Gor’del begins to realize that there is more to elven magic than he previously realized and that the awakened may be only a small piece to a much more complex puzzle.

Captivating, you won't want it to end!
This delightful book had me captivated from the first chapter. I loved the description of each character and was easily able to visualize the story as it unfolded. The author is a very talented creative writer and the audiobook reader truly made the story come to life. I'm really looking forward to the next book!

Masterful storytelling
E.W. Crandall is a master storyteller. Her characters are well-developed. I was engaged right from the beginning and the plot kept my interest well.
I loved the first 2/3 of the book and I would have confidently given this book 5 stars, but then there was some questionable content that detracted from the fantastic story. I just wish the few sexual encounters (not explained in detail) and the budding homosexual relationship were omitted so I could wholeheartedly recommend it.
This plot is clever and so well-written. This is definitely meant to be read as a series as the ending was a bit abrupt without full resolution. I listened to Elven Liberation and the reader was impressive, doing all the accents! 4 stars!
