Publisher's summary

Does it seem like everything is moving so fast these days you can barely keep up? Do you sometimes feel that your life is spinning out of control? Most of us are so overwhelmed by the stuff in our daily lives -- work, bills, family commitments, demands from our kids' schools -- that we rush from person to person and place to place. For many of us, life feels completely out of balance because we give one area of our lives too much attention and the other areas nowhere near enough. This crazy imbalance and the resulting stress and unhappiness you feel are the clutter that Peter Walsh wants to help you tackle in Enough Already!: Clearing Mental Clutter to Become the Best You.

Peter examines the six key areas of your life -- Family, Relationships, Work, Health, Money, and Spirituality -- and shows how these unique parts of your life are so interrelated that if just one is cluttered, that clutter will creep into the other areas and throw your life off balance. He then offers a step-by-step plan that helps you acknowledge and address the emotional and mental clutter that holds you back from living the richly fulfilling life you deserve.

Peter knows that freeing up a cluttered life (and mind) can sometimes take even greater work and commitment than clearing out a cluttered home, but he is determined to help you change. With his wry humor, his constant encouragement, and the specific tips and practical advice he offers, Peter helps you prioritize what matters in your life. Then his straightforward approach shows you how to let go of the stress and clutter and regain your balance, focus, energy, and purpose. By following his simple plan you will begin to view your life and how you spend your time and energy in a completely new way. You will finally be able to live a stress-free life of balance and fulfillment -- the life that's been buried under all your emotional clutter for years and the one you've always imagined.

Loved it!

Would you consider the audio edition of Enough Already! to be better than the print version?

I never got a chance to read the print version, but i loved the audio.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that it was read by the author and I loved how much it truly motivated me.

Have you listened to any of Peter Walsh’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Once your space is clear and clean from clutter u will start to live life instead of living for the clutter.

Very motivating. Excellent narration.

Would you consider the audio edition of Enough Already! to be better than the print version?

They both serve their purpose. I loved reading the book, but I also love the audio. I can listen to this as I am cleaning and organizing for extra motivation.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Peter, he is the only character in the book. :-) I love his accent, and he really narrates so easily as if he is sitting in the room with me and just talking with me.

Have you listened to any of Peter Walsh’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes. I love them all.

What did you learn from Enough Already! that you would use in your daily life?

I think the motivation to start the process, enjoy the process, and take it slowly enough that it is done right. There is no rush to get everything done in one day.

Any additional comments?

Excellent. Highly recommended.

Very encouraging and helpful!

Perer Walsh has a very natural, easy style of communicating that makes me feel like he really understands and that I'm not alone in my shameful situation. His narration is easy to listen to and his ideas, so clear and concise, they bring me hope that I can accomplish this! His weatlth of knowledge and grasp of the underlying issues is demonstrated by his validation of not only the cluttered situation itself, but also the physical and emotional triggers which precipitated it in the first place. So much more than another "how to clean it up" book, it's a book about how it got that way in the first place and how to keep it from ever happening again! : )

Common Sense for a Price

Never have I purchased a book so far behind the times. Little insight, lots of finger wagging, nothing to distinguish either the writing or the author.

Where are the exercise files? Come on audible.com!

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Including the pdf exercise files he claims the audiobook comes with since the audiobook interactive based on having done the exercises. My guess is this has more to do with audible.com and not Mr. Walsh himself. Still I couldn't find a link for the files doing a Google search so that would be on him in my opinion.

What could Peter Walsh have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Peter Walsh was excellent. My poor rating is a reflection of not getting the pdf files (link) referred to in the audiobook to serve as a warning to others thinking about downloading the book from audible.com.

How could the performance have been better?

Including the files and/or link to download them.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

I thought his approach was a fresh way, for me, to look at the process of change from the inside-out.

Any additional comments?

Include the FILES and/or LINK and my rating goes up to a 5!
