Publisher's summary

Hudson Blake.

Tattooed. Hot. My best friend's brother. Off-limits, except for that one night.

That one night cannot be spoken of. Cannot be thought of. Cannot allow myself to daydream.

Daydream that I'm going to become someone. That he can see me as someone.

Someone to love. To forget. To believe. To taste.

To make me forget my everlasting sin once and for all.

Sinfully Addicting!

What did you love best about Everlasting Sin?

***Received this audiobook for exchange for my honest review***
*** Note this review is for Books, Coffee, and Wine Audio Book Blog***

An amazingly sinful summer night changed the lives of Riley and Hudson forever. Hudson never intended to fall for his sister’s best friend and the girl he promised to look after since they were kids, but the pull toward Riley was strong and undeniable. One night, a few hours of happiness, is the all couple has together, before a horrible tragedy pulls them apart, and the time they spent together is little more than memories and a sinful secret. After years of trying to forget and move on, Riley and Hudson once again find one another. But past passions and painful skeletons battle for the future and a story of growing up, forgiveness, and undeniable love is told.

I really enjoyed both Riley and Hudson. Riley’s innocence really helped to define her character. She is so sweet and caring it was easy to like her, and I could see how Hudson became so mesmerized by her. My feelings on Hudson are more complex. At times I thought he was perfect, sexy, protective, and caring. Other times, I was confused by his actions, and was disappointed in his decisions. Nonetheless, in the end I was won over, I understood why Riley had such strong feelings for him. Hudson and Riley’s story kept me on the edge of my seat. The story is told in a way that keeps you guessing and wanting more! I loved the way the details unveil themselves throughout the book.

What does M. Capehart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Everlasting Sin is narrated by M. Capehart. I enjoyed her crystal clear voice and found myself lost in her words.

Any additional comments?

As the story is written in duel of point of view, I felt it would have been more effective to have a male speak for Hudson, but M. Capehart did a good job with both characters and I would recommend this audiobook.

--I was given a copy of this audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

The story of Riley and Hudson was sweet and loving. JS Cooper gave us the different point of views from each of the main characters. From the time Riley was 6, Hudson has played a large part in her life. From teasing her to becoming her protector, Hudson grew into a strong, resilient man. Once fighting Channing, and almost dying, he worked through his guilt and was able to move on with a relationship with Riley. I thought the two of them had incredible chemistry. The secondary characters of Luke and Eden, Justin and Clara made the story interesting. Looking forward to book 2.

M Capehart as always creates a cast of characters that are fun to listen to. Her voice is warm and sultry.

Everlasting great audio

I like J.S Copper stories. She wrote stories that touch your heart . This story is about puppy love that grows and binds the hero and heroine together. The hero has a protective side towards the heroine.
Hero is Hudson. Heroine is Riley.

Grab it and see what real love is about

The narrator performance is great. Her voice is smooth, clear and strong

Thrilling

This book had me on an emotional rollercoaster. I am not a big fan of fighting subjects but this story told a story of love and heart ache.

Love This!! 5 Star Story- JS Cooper More Please ♥✍

As little kids Hudson used to pinch Riley on the bus. Riley told her mom and she marched them right over to Hudson's parents house. When she explained the situation to Hudson's mother, he was told that he would torment her no more and he was to watch out for Riley.

Hudson's sister and Riley were the best of friends and they were sweetly innocent. They fought like sisters and Riley always went to Hudson to mediate. She also just loved to talk to him about her problems. Hudson listened and always tried to soothe things.

Years later Hudson's sister and Riley are roommates in college. Riley wants to be a journalist and was fighting to find any story to get an expose. Her opportunity arose when she became aware of an underground fight club in the area. Immediately, she learned what she could about the "sport" and marched down to the [not so] secret gym where the athletes were training.

Of course, a woman inside a den of testosterone raised many eyebrows, especially a woman as pretty as Riley. She began to talk to the men and explain what she was doing, promising not to jeopardize their club no matter what she found out.

Several days later she was astonished when, as she was talking to the guys at the gym, a very familiar face came in with an unfamiliar grown man, well cut and ripped body… You guessed it – Hudson!

Hudson was the best on the circuit and he plans to compete in the tournament that would yield the ultimate winner $1 million. Hudson needs this to help ease the financial tensions of those in his past that he had severe regret over.

Riley also has some deep pain and regret in her life. She was determined not to be hurt again and Hudson was determined to stay away from Riley -a woman he no longer saw as his baby sister's friend.

I listened to this book twice and found that the second time I picked up on details I missed the first time. This will go in my "to listen again" file, it is that good.

A book like this is the reason that *I agree to listen to in exchange for my review. Many that I listen to are the same old format, same issues. This one stands out! It is well-written and but for a few repetitive issues, I can think of nothing that I would change about the book.

The narration was very good. M. Capehart was able to convincingly portray some immature college girls, Riley – a bit more worldly than her friends, Hudson and kids. Determination and strength came through very well. PLUS a lot of secondary characters were each given their own voice. Very good job, in my opinion.

Notes: Strong language, mature situations/themes and episodes of violence.

Everlasting sin

What did you like best about this story?

The book is written in both POV's ... You get to know both characters. What I loved about the book is how you get to attach yourself to them because the author starts the book from when they were kids... They become friends after he picks on her when they are kids and her mother tells him he will protect her and not pick on her.
