To not constantly look over my shoulder, worried about the things that went bump in the night. I just wanted to survive. But that wasn't meant to be. As luck - or fate, or something - would have it, the trouble found me. I followed a rabbit through the wreckage of a half-ruined world to get back what was mine, and wound up at the end of it. In Wonderland. But there's nothing magical about it.

I thought this was gonna suck!
The review had me torn but I listened in one day and there better be a second one cause I am invested!!
My biggest complaint is that the narrators either messed up words or the copy writers sucked at some point also..
Linnea (Lynn -Aye) was pronounced (LynAyeUh) the first half of the book and once the Bryson character got it wrong… or right once everyone switched up!! super confusing!
Also yes I agree that the female characters are weak minded but that didn’t bother me cause I like to know how these young girls thinking! Lol!

Good book and storyline
I love the love story and the hood loving. Seven just a little too naive for me. Nasir and Bryson should have known better. The narrators are good. It’s just the story that is a little to naive for me. Those guys are from the streets they needed to be a little more ready.

Wow, awesome book

Expectations of others
I love the way the story unfolded it was executed really well the pace and flow was good. I felt all the emotions of the characters as they met again after mot seeing each other. The dad is a pieces of work and i hope she stands up to him. I hope all the couples end up together and happy.

Very good story
Very very good story however the women narrator wasn’t the correct fit for this part. She sounded more like a baby than a 24 year old. I can understand the author wanting a more innocent voice but I believe she could have achieved that without this women narrator. I think the women narrator would be really good for children’s books.
