Publisher's summary

While Shax recovers from a near fatality, his shipmates have been busy. He's rather proud of them taking the initiative and finding them a lucrative cargo run. His pride turns to outright horror, though, when he finds out what sort of cargo. Unfortunately, he'll soon discover that a healthy fear of frogs doesn't prevent frog-driven disasters. Time travel has never been so messy.

Twice the fun of Hell For The Company

What's better that a great novella? An even greater sequel to a great novella. This was full of action, fun, frogs, horses, cowboys and sweet, sweet, loving.... well loving anyway. Enjoy!

Loved it. The narration and the story

What made the experience of listening to Fear of Frogs the most enjoyable?

Everything. The beautiful narrator's voice, the lot, the characters, the humor, there was so much to like about it

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fear of Frogs?

The fear of frogs. That esact moment when we know why the book was named that way

Which character – as performed by Vance Bastian – was your favorite?

Ness because his voice is just so sweet and one can't help to love him, he's adorable. The author create a beautiful character but the narrator gave so much more to him even lovelier if that was even possible

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There was a particular moment when everything seemed to be going really bad and to see Ness taking the blame was so hard. That might have been one of the saddest moments of the book but one of my favorites too.

Any additional comments?

This was just so great. So odd and unexpected but great. I loved it. I loved the characters, the romance, the humor and the strange plot. I also loved the narration. It was actually what draw me to the book, the beautiful narrator’s voice.

The plot was so fun, I have something against stories that feature something that was part of the story but it might be a spoiler so I just say that some new character just is so out of my comfort zone, and yet I liked him and all of the events around his presence in the story. The story gave a little more spotlight to Verin, not my favorite parts but I did liked it. I loved how Shax and Ness start to get a little more physical, it was lovely to see them exploring a little bit more, can’t wait to see how things will evolve in the next instalments. They make such an adorable couple.

The frogs…I didn’t see that coming, I don’t know what’s wrong with me, with the first time I got surprised by the cows and this time by the frogs. It was so much fun, I laugh so bad with the whole situation. I just love Shax and everyone else, there are great characters and I can’t help to love how absurd some things were. It was so entertaining, I can’t get enough of this series.

The narration is stunning. I can’t recall any other audio were it was so easy to know the change of characters, it had a nice pace and the voice while narrating was beautiful. Really recommend it for someone looking for something fun to read.

Angels, Demons and Cowboys in Space. Fun!

It is amazing how Angel Martinez manages to add so many unrelated aspects to this story and makes them work together perfectly, to create a wonderfully fun listening experience.

I really liked the narrator, though the production values are not as high as in other audiobooks I have listened to. It did not take away much from the audiobook and I can strongly recomend it.
