Publisher's summary

Danny Devlin was done with war until one started in his home town….

A sadistic mercenary called Merrick has kidnapped Ruby Sinclair, the diabetic daughter of a US senator, and has hidden her deep in the mountains of Wyoming. Cold, alone, and without her insulin, Ruby has hours to live, maybe less. Offered a deal to escape the death penalty, Merrick agrees to lead Devlin, a local wilderness guide, and two lawmen to her location on the mountain. Cut off from the rest of the world by a deadly blizzard, Devlin and his team have no choice but to follow Merrick into a horrific storm, scale an unforgiving mountain, and march directly into a well-laid trap....

Will the deal with the devil save the girl or doom them all?

Good Short Read/Listen

I enjoyed this. The story developed naturally. Several unexpected turns which left some unanswered questions. Narrator was the right choice for this story. I hope there will be more Danny Devlin stories.
