Nicole Corisi will lose her inheritance if she doesn't find a way around the terms of her father's will, but she will have to partner up with her estranged brother's rival to do it. As pretense becomes painfully real, Nicole will have to choose between Stephan and the family he is driven to destroy.

Stephan Andrade has been planning his revenge ever since Dominic Corisi unscrupulously took over his father's company. With Corisi Enterprises gambling its reputation on the success of a new software network for China, Stephan finally has his chance to take back his legacy. Dominic's younger sister, Nicole, asks Stephan for his help and provides him with an opportunity to exact his revenge on a personal level.

It all goes smoothly until he falls in love.

Second Chance Romance

Is the cover story for another book? Nicole is described as Dominic’s twin a freckled red head would make a better cover for Alethea’s Redemption. Nicole is a insecure beauty who has the love of her future husband. Both the affianced have to tame their demons to embrace amoré. He brings out the femme in the MC. She brings the little boy inside of him to the forefront. Good match. I enjoyed the family dynamics of the Andrades.

For love or Legacy Stars

Ok I enjoyed book 1, but I LOVED book 2. I don’t know if I was just in a different head space or what. But it left me emotional; I had tears throughout this book.

Kim Bubbs did a good job narrating book 1 but I think she did an even better job with book 2. I felt the emotions; I loved all of the different voices.

This book is the story of Nicole Corisi & Stephan Andrade.
In book 1 we meet Dominic Corisi, Nicole’s brother and Stephan Dominic’s long-time rival. We also know that after the death of Dom and Nicole’s father who wasn’t a nice man. That he made stipulations on Nicole’s inheritance.

So to get what Nicole wants and deserves, she goes to Stephan with a plan only things do not go as planned.
I lovvvved the character growth of Nicole, I think she was too afraid to be who she really is. And it took a little pushing for her to see she is her own person and she can do what she wants.

She did have some help from Stephan’s family. I think I loved that best. For someone like Nicole who felt alone or abandoned most of the time. Having this big family want her, and need her. It was so foreign to her but I love how she jumped head first with them.

I was not a big fan of Stephan for a lot of this story, but he does redeem himself at the hotel. And I can then see why Nicole was so in love with him. He became human.

Great book

Nicole and Stephan had a brief encounter years before and after the death of her father she seeks him out and asks for his help which he refuses.
Well, they do eventually get together and the sparks continue to fly. They always do in Ms Cardello's stories and I find this entertaining and amusing, time and again.
There was an unusual birth which added spice to the tale.
If you've read the first book in this series you will remember the two main characters in that book and they make an interesting re-appearance in this book.
Ruth Cardello has once again written a lovely story which flows and keeps the reader engrossed and Kim Bubbs does a great job of telling it with her narration skills. These two have a good partnership going.

For Love or Legacy by Ruth Cardello

Would you listen to For Love or Legacy again? Why?

Yes. I think the narrator did a great job. She used different voices for each of the characters and it was easy to keep everyone apart.

What was one of the most memorable moments of For Love or Legacy?

Nichole delivering Mattie's baby in the limo. That was a very moving moment. It was the time Maddie and Nicole made a big connection and of course the birth of a baby is always a happy, emotional time.

I also loved the time Stephen and Nichole went to California and spent the night with his friends. Some of those scenes were very funny with the children.

Which character – as performed by Kim Bubbs – was your favorite?

Stephen. He was so driven to get revenge on Dominic but basically was a good man who once he found out the truth was able to own up to his part in trying to destroy Dominic and tried to make things right.

Also, once he realized he was in love with Nicole he didn't let it drive him nuts trying to decide if he was happy about that or not. He did what he needed to do to keep her in his life.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

As noted above the birth of the Maddie's baby. It was such a nail biting scene!

Any additional comments?

I love all of Ruth Cardello's Legacy Series!

I never thought that would happen. And how thongs are coming out about the pass. This is a great series. A must read for those that have not.

Another good installment

Enjoyable story still don’t like narrator's voice for Abby too baby sounding for a strong confident woman who was an inner city middle school teacher who would never have commanded respect with a baby voice. Maddie was fine for that voice but not Abby
