Publisher's summary
Bravery. Honor. Sacrifice. These are more than mere words to trained Marine sniper Nathan McBride. He’s never backed away from danger, and he’s not about to start now, even if it means confronting the cold-blooded interrogator who tortured him to the brink of death more than a decade ago.
When a mutilated body is discovered in a remote Utah lake, it ignites a chain of events that forces Nathan to face a dark chapter from a past he’s worked hard to forget. Could his Nicaraguan enemy be active again? On American soil? The evidence is clear, but the stakes are higher than Nathan can know. In a showdown that will test Nathan’s understanding of justice and mercy, he’ll have to make a life or death decision that has the potential to expose and destroy people at the highest levels of government.

Good Story, performed like Dragnet
What did you like best about Forced to Kill? What did you like least?
Had a good story line, but the ending sounded like the author made it up just to finish the book. No one could have predicted the ending, even when the main character tells how he figured everything out.
What other book might you compare Forced to Kill to and why?
Anything else written by Andrew Peterson, narrated by Dick Hill. Other people might enjoy them, I don't.
How could the performance have been better?
Maybe read by another performer.
Could you see Forced to Kill being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
It should never get that far.

Good book
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, pretty interesting.
What did you like best about this story?
It moved pretty well, no big lulls in the action.
What does Dick Hill bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
He's the best, that's all.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Maybe "what goes around comes around".
Any additional comments?
Dick Hill is a master. Listened to all the Reacher books and was pleased to find out he narrated this series as well.

Andrew Peterson hits another home run
After his first novel 'First to Kill', he hits a home run with this second story starring Nathan McBride. The narrator for the audio book does another outstanding job of bringing the story to life. During a recent driving trip, I enjoyed having this audio book to fill the hours.
Nathan McBride faces difficult internal conflicts with his FBI counterpart Holly. Overall, there's a lot of interesting action like the first book. You will not regret buying this audio book.

An outstanding thriller now on sale for $4.95
Forced to Kill is novel #2 in Andrew Peterson's 5 novel Nathan McBride military/espionage thriller series. I listened to this book when it was released in 2011 but did not review it then. It is an excellent book made even better by Dick Hill's narration.

Really good book
I loved this book and like the series very much. My admiration for Nathan has grown .And his sidekick is right up there with him. . Nice to have a mystery writer not put what they call hot and steamy love scenes in the story. If you like the Child and Ludlum books you will probably like this one too.
