About this listen

New York Times best-selling author S.L. Scott has crafted an epic and emotional story that embodies humor, great tension, a surprise pregnancy, and riveting standalone second chance romance that has listeners raving "intense chemistry and all-consuming!"

Noah Westcott should come with a warning: too hot to handle!

The man is stunningly handsome with his embracing brown eyes and lips that make me want to kiss that smirk right off his face.

How could I resist?

Spoiler: I didn’t.

That was my first mistake.

I blame him for the second. It should have been easy and fun. No strings attached. No feelings. As if he commanded it like he did me in the bedroom, I did exactly what I said I wouldn’t. I fell for him.

Two years later, the same man walks into my life. Again. A lot has changed. Not his devastating good looks, or that smug grin, but for me everything.

Now that Noah’s back—in my office and hanging around after hours—I can’t get distracted. I must protect my secret—the one who calls me Mommy.

This is a story about second chances

Noah Wescott and Olivia Bancroft met and had an instant connection and a one night stand with only first names exchanged.
Two years later they meet again when Noah walks into his first day of work at Bancroft and Lowe and sees her sitting next to her father, his new boss. Noah smiles seeing Olivia, Liv to him. When Olivia looks at him though she has anger in her eyes. A lot has happened in the two years since they first met. This is where I'm going to say: "Grab your copy, either paperback, ebook or audio and settle in to find out what happens to Noah and Liv on their way to finding each other again." I read and listened to this story thru whisper-sync audible. The narration is expertly done by two of my favorite narrators, Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood. They bring this story to life with their incredible styles. If you’re an audiobook lover or if you’re trying audible for the first time, I hope you’ll give this book a try.
This story is a stand alone but does take us back into the world of the Wescott family from previous books by SL Scott. I hope you enjoy this family as much as I do. Happy reading and/or listening.

Great story

The story was great but it was pretty slow. The female narrator was a little dramatic in her line delivery. The male narrator was what kept my interest to finish the book. It’s something to listen to if you’re doing chores.

This book swept me off my feet with its intense, passionate storyline. Liv, the strong-willed boss's daughter, and Noah, an irresistible man, shared a memorable one-night stand that returned to haunt them when they ended up working together. The tension between them crackled with energy, making it impossible to put the book down. Liv's determination to protect her heart and her secret as a single mom and Noah's relentless pursuit kept me glued to the pages. Scott's storytelling prowess beautifully captured the essence of their second-chance romance, filled with humor, emotional depth, and undeniable chemistry. The characters' growth and the unfolding of their love story made this novel an unforgettable read. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to fellow romance lovers.

The talented duo of Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood narrates this audiobook. Their voices brought Liv and Noah to life, adding depth and emotion to an already powerful narrative. Jason Clarke's deep, resonant voice perfectly captured Noah's intensity and determination, while Savannah Peachwood's performance as Liv was strong and vulnerable, mirroring the complexity of her character. The chemistry between the narrators paralleled the sizzling tension between the characters, making the audiobook an incredibly immersive and enjoyable experience.

Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood's expert narration enhanced the already vivid storytelling by Scott, elevating the book to new heights. Their ability to convey the characters' emotions and the nuances of the plot added another layer of richness to the overall experience. I was completely engrossed in their voices, hanging on to every word as the story unfolded.

If you're a fan of audiobooks or looking to delve into the world of romance through your ears, I highly recommend this audiobook version. Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood's exceptional narration combined with Scott's compelling storytelling will undoubtedly sweep you off your feet, just as it did for me. Happy listening!

It is...

...as the kids say: saccharin. But, I loved it anyway. It's a cute, solidly written, mildly spicy second-chance romance that will definitely make my list of favorites.

WoW

I really enjoyed this book and the series all together. I love how each main characters are strong and they come out even stronger. Knowing there was 3 boys and 1 girl in the family my heart was broken there was only 3 books but I have looked into and there is a book about the sister 👏🏼 so excited to listen because it has to be as good if not better than these

Good read

I liked the story. Sebastian York is one of the best narrators. I was looking for a light hearted listen and a happy ending this book was just that. Finding your soulmate in real life is not easy, as much as this was a fiction it made me happy. I had my soulmate in real life.

I’ll never get over this series 🩵

Wow! Book 3 tops book 1 and 2 and I do not know how S.L. Scott does it but every consecutive book is a masterpiece.
From Harbor to Locke and now Noah I am in awe of the depth, and pure raw emotions that it pulls from the reader.
Olivia is amazing and Noah is more than I imagined I wanted him to be from his character in the previous books.
I love every single thing about this series and Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood are perfection as Noah and Olivia.
