Publisher's summary

Welcome, neighbor!

Julie Prentice and her family move across the country to the idyllic Mount Adams district of Cincinnati, hoping to evade the stalker who's been terrorizing them ever since the publication of her bestselling novel, The Murder Game. Since Julie doesn't know anyone in her new town, when she meets her neighbor John Dunbar, their instant connection brings measured hope for a new beginning. But she never imagines that a simple, benign conversation with him could set her life spinning so far off course.

We know where you live....

After a series of misunderstandings, Julie and her family become the target of increasingly unsettling harassment. Has Julie's stalker found her, or are her neighbors out to get her, too? As tension in the neighborhood rises, new friends turn into enemies, and the results are deadly.

Frustrating

Okay...so this one of those books I want to throw at the wall because it was so disjointed that I had to keep reading to find out who was who, and when it was happening. Argh..if it wasn't so all over the place I really think I would have liked it, but who knows? The characters were in a suburbia hell, everyone was literally all up in each other's personal business! If it were me, I would have found some invasion of privacy law to keep these crazy people away from me. Read at your own risk and keep your blood pressure medicine close.

Keeps you wondering where the story’s headed.

Books that switch back and forth in time and perspective are not my favorite, but by the end of this book I didn’t feel it was distracting. The narration was good. I liked the story line although it was a little depressing at times.

Loved it!!!

Any additional comments?

Couldn't stop listening to it. Loved it! Especially if you are from Cincinnati - there are all kinds of references from our hometown, which is fun. Even if not, it is a great read.

Meh

It was just okay, kind of boring...couldn't really hold my attention. Definitely not a memorable read.

so,so book

Neighborhood story my opinion didn't keep me enthralled. Story line felt long and the better part of the book was the last few chapters.

Ending was disappointing

The story keeps you wondering all the way through and the end ends up being about a kiss. Really? All that lead up and it’s something that is a non issue. Had me til the end then plop.
