Have you noticed we didn't say you have to know how to do popular digital-marketing tactics? Search-engine optimization has backlinks to build and keywords to optimize for. Email lists have to be set up, connected to your website, and segmented based on the audience. Your website...well, that might need to be coded from the ground up again.

But we aren't going to worry about that. It isn't our job to know how to build a website or do SEO or any of that. It's our job to set a strategy to decide what we need or don't need and have others deliver the technical work.

GREAT book, a little boring to listen to

What did you love best about Getting Digital Marketing Right?

This has some of the best, packed information on digital marketing of any book I have listened to. It sounds a little boring to listen to at first, but I have not listened to a more compact, potent digital marketing book and can't recommend it enough.

Not only did I listen to it twice, but I bought a version for another team member as well who has loved it.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

A little more dynamic as a speaker would be good, but the information is delivered fine if you get used to the delivery

Great Resource - Not so great Narration

There is a lot of great information here. Complex things made simple and packed with excellent perspective and insights. I just wish the author had hired someone to do the narration. His voice is too low, too casual and lacks the punch needed to drive home the important material.
