Gotrek & Felix Book 7

Gotrek and Felix's adventures take an unexpected twist as they are recruited by the elven archmage Teclis to help him save the world by thwarting the machinations of Chaos on the mysterious isle of Albion.

Listen to it because....

A new player enters the series—none other than the infamous high elf mage Teclis! Of course, the bickering between him and Gotrek is a high point, but the exploration of the mysterious island of Albion and the return of some old foes doesn't hurt either.

The story:

Gotrek and Felix—unsung heroes of the Empire, or nothing more than common thieves and murderers? The truth perhaps lies somewhere in between, and depends entirely upon whom you ask....

Separated from their friends during a vicious battle, Gotrek Gurnisson and Felix Jaeger are magically transported to the storm-wracked isle of Albion. Strange and dangerous creatures stalk the island and omens tell of a great evil that is rising—an evil that might destroy the entire world. With the aid of the natives of Albion and the mighty high elf mage Teclis, Gotrek and Felix must stop the secrets of the mysterious Old Ones from falling into the hands of servants of the Dark Gods.

Written by William King. Read by Jonathan Keeble. Running time is 10 hours and 24 minutes (approximately).

Fantastic as always

Another great chapter in the adventures of Gotrek and Felix! Jonathan Keeble remains as the best narrator I’ve heard on this app.

Amazing as always

Another master piece. Kept me engaged the entire time. The narrator truly brings these characters to life. I can't wait for the next one.

Another Decent Entry

Another fine entry in though Gotrek and Felix series. Nothing about this story really stood out however. It was entertaining and had the action and adventure we expect, but there is nothing about it that really grabbed my attention or sparked my interest.

Classic Gotrek and Felix.

The book is one of my favorite ones, with it's look into parts of the warhammer world we rarely saw. The voice acting as always is fantastic. Keeble rarely has any voices or voicework that disappoint me, and this book is no exception. This book even got me to consider warhammer high elves in a different light (I still am in the throng when mention of the war of the beard comes up, but not all those elves are bad folk.)

I quite like the characters in the book that are not part of the regular crew with gotrek and felix. If i had one complaint, it is that the first few hours do drag just a little bit. It's somewhat samey for awhile there.

Still, if your a fan up until this point, this book won't disappoint. I'll always have a soft spot for gotrek felix, snorri and max. Ulrika too, but i'd not let her get near enough to smell it pumping my blood.

I can't get enough of this series.

100% My Favorite book series. The story arc that carries along between Gotrek and Felix is hilarious, dangerous, and unpredictable. The narrator for this series cannot be topped. Start from the First Novel and work your way here. You will not be dissapointed.
