great read
the story seemed a little choppy at first but was brought together very well. I personally had a difficult time with the narrarators voice. I'd catch myself tuning her out and had to rewind a few time. but over a great story.

The reporting is thorough m, but I think it could have been a ton shorter; also, I don’t know if a highbrow New England- meets British accent is right for a murder story from Oregon.

A classic but obviously dated
This is my second listen of Green River Running Red, and I know I can rely on Anne Rule if I want a good true crime serial killer book that’s insanely researched. It’s a classic but this time around I find myself getting really bummed and rolling my eyes about the demonizing of sex work, fawning over the police and weird opinions of “radical feminist types.” A lot of people have complained about the narrator, but I think she does a great job. She sounds like an out of touch retired cop so it felt like Anne was reading to me.
All in all a solid true crime book but definitely to be read with a grain of salt.

Unmitigated atrocities 
I liked everything about the book. I feel sorry for the prostitutes because they don’t have any other way to make living for themselves. I wish there was a way that they could be helped and go to school and learn a trade.
