What a cliffy

What a start to the series! This book had me in such a choke hold AND THEN Tate had to throw a major cliffhanger! Honestly, the cliffhanger, suspense, stalkers, and Archer's coldness....dang what a book. AND the narration was a duet which just elevates an audiobook IMMENSELY. I immediately dove into the next book.

Phenomenal story and narration!!!

I was blown away by this book and am now in desperate need for book 2. I waited for the audio release and purchased the same day, but i hadn't expected it to be this good. The female narrator is perfection and the male narrator is very talented as well. Do yourself a favor a do not pass this one up!!

I absolutely loved it!

I really loved the performance. I love how it's in her POV but all the male voices are done by a male narrator. I also loved the story and all the characters.

Oh My!! Madison Kate!!

I’ve never read this author but holy smokes!! I kept hearing about this series from other readers and decided I’d give it a shot. Well, I devoured it like I started and didn’t want to stop.. Sleep deprived, yes but totally worth it. Absolutely must read. It is a reverse harem just so people know that off the bat, I know plenty love them but some it’s not their jam and that’s cool too.

This is the first book of the series and we meet Madison Kate who like any other teenager likes hanging out with her friends an attending things she shouldn’t like an underground fight one evening that changes everything she had planned out in her life. That one evening it shatters it and nothing will repair what damage has been done and unfortunately Madison Kate can’t undo it and the hate she feels grows coating her in a layer of armor meant to keep everyone out including the three new roommates she finds herself with upon returning home.

Those roommates are Steele, Archer and Kodiak and not only are they smoking hot, gorgeous, brooding alpha males they are the reason her hopes and dreams shattered and she has nothing for them but utter hate and despises with every breath she takes, they will pay one way or another and she’s going to see to it.

The narrators did a good job.

I enjoy a good hate/love story . Not disappointed

A lot of story to help on the later books, but I enjoyed the aggressive flirting . Love senses show promise

Great beginning to a new series. So many twist and turns for Mary Kate. I can’t wait to read more of the guys. They all hold a special spot. Keep on writing your awesome way!!!😉 This audible was very original in the way it was recorded. The best one yet I’ve listened to.

What a ride!

I devoured these steamy and thrilling books in a couple of days. They won’t be for everyone but I loved loved them. Where is the last book, Audible?

understated title

Loathe. detest. despise. abhor. Hate. I don't think a word accurately describes how I feel about cliffhangers or the end of this tale. (yes, I know it's a series. I can do you one better- I've read the series already. Shrugs, first time listening though).
The emotions you feel along with and through Kate are gripping and a full fledged roller coaster ride.
And the guys.... man you love to hate them. The outright angst. There's a thin line between love and hat, right?

I went into this book hesitant.

Tate is an amazing author and her first RH series is in the Top 5 RH of all time for me.

She kind of stepped away from the genre for awhile so I haven’t keep up on her recent series. I decided to check this out because it ended up on Plus - and I went in feeling “meh” because it looked like a bully romance.

And I am so exhausted with that genre it’s not even funny. I’ve practically been abused with it. So I flinch every time there’s a potential conflict with the FMC and MMC.

But this was.... awesome! Engaging! Well written (although I knew it would be) and holy smokes the sex scenes were some of the BEST I’ve ever read. I forgot how great Tate is cause it’s been so long since I’ve read her work.

And the narrators?

Holy HELL - Tate - never use any other narrators again. These two are smoking! Epic! I want to listen to these two duet all day.

Lucas Webley is up and coming for sure - but I want to listen to anything he narrates now. And the female narrator? Her sass was PERFECT! So much emotion! These two can act!
