From Heartbreak To Healing.

A must read for those going through a rough patch in their marriage. I loved the author’s honesty about her feelings and how she was able to overcome her codependency.

Encouraging

Joan is easy to identify with as she describes her sadness and struggles. She does lots of venting and I can relate to that too. But then in another chapter she tells how she recovered. That's encouraging! It makes me think if she can overcome, then I can too!

Must read

True and honest book about the healing fo the heart after a betrayal. I love that the answers to forgiveness are based on Bible principles but even if someone does not use Bible as a guideline - you will find this book of much help.

Heart felt

As though she was talking directly to you, Joan is transparent and encouraging in a way that only someone who has gone through the pain and struggles could understand.

Disappointed...

I was interested in this book, hoping to connect with the author, since I have gone through a somewhat similar situation, public humiliation, but found little to connect to. The narrator sounded forced w/ her attempts at dramatizing the story, and the overall feel of the story was more like a long description of the authors sad details followed by preaching. It seemed forced and lacking real depth. I’m sorry I spent the $15!
