A little Forbidden, a lot of chemistry!

Forbidden romances are always so much fun to listen to! Lucas Carrington is the training to be the quarterback for his hometown NFL team. When he runs into a cart before practice and hurts his shoulder, he has to go to the team physical therapist, who is none other than Jillian, his coaches daughter. The cause of his accident, as well as the person who will help him, she immediately becomes his focus and the chemistry between the two is palpable. But what will happen if they act on it? Will he make the team? Will her father accept their relationship? Or will this just be a fling? Kim Karr writes such great characters. Lucas starts out with such over confidence and I love how he becomes humbled. He is sweet and loyal, but sometimes you just want to smack him. Jillian is young and thinks she knows what she wants. She is smart and full of hope. And with a supporting cast that add laughter and advice it's a joy to listen to these two work through life's choices to find what is right for them.

Ava Lucas and Teddy Hamilton are a pair that always deliver a narration to enjoy. Ava gives Jillian a confidence in her voice, knowing what she wants. Lucas is cocky at first, and Teddy delivers him with that smugness you would expect. Together, their voices compliment each other as the relationship changes and matures. I loved this book as well as the other two in the series.

Kim Karr has done it again, her books are sooooo good. Was interesting to go on he journey from an early amateur rookie to professional football.

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

Very sweet romance!!

I liked this book, a lot. I wanted to hear more of Lucas... Teddy Hamilton though. He's on my favorite list of narrators. I liked Ava as Jillian but there were times her voice sounded so slow and her male narration was not as good. Overall I enjoyed the book, liked the story and characters and felt the connection between Lucas and Jillian. Was worth the credit.

A cute, sweet, and fun story. This is my first book from Kim Karr I had the pleasure to enjoy, I adored it. Wonderful writing, witty banter, and a beautiful romance.
Teddy Hamilton is one of my favorite narrators, he did not disappoint as always. Ava Lucas was good, I did not care for her “male” voice but that’s ok it didn’t take away from the interesting story line.

This book got me. Little drama and lots of love and feel goods.

Ava sounded a bit too old for this role but Teddy was perfection.
