It even better listening to it

I stumbled upon the Ice Planet Barbarians series through another blogger and TikTok I had to get. What did I just read? Was that for real? Did we really just land on Not Hoth and mate with blue aliens?

I was captured from the first page. Georgie and many other human women are abducted from Earth. The aliens that took them treat them like cattle and their fate, well it doesn't sound like it will be good, but along the way the ship crashes and they must survive on a frozen planet and come into contact with the natives, blue 7ft tall, horned aliens.👽

We get Gerogie and Vektal’s perspectives. It made it interesting to learn about both, the world, and what it’s like to be different and alone. I liked the language barrier, it made things difficult, but they worked through it until it got sorted out. This book was sweet, funny and sexy. Although the experience the heroine has gone through is pretty traumatic, this book was still light and fun to read

I loved the references or comparisons to Star Wars. the characters we meet are interesting and unique in their own way. I had a few laughs at some of the things one of the girls said to help lighten the mood in a bad situation. I can’t wait for each human women to have their own story.

I enjoyed hearing the characters come alive. The book also had one of my favorite features, male and female narrators. Although there were times where Georgie’s accent disappeared, it was still a good listen. I highly recommend this audio book.

I'll admit, I'm shocked I enjoyed this book so much. It read to me as a fantastic romcom, if that wasn't the way, I apologize. Georgie was cracking me up the whole time and Vektal was a big ol teddy bear. I'm diving into the rest of this series ASAP!

Oh dear Lord 🤯🥵🔥🔥 hot af! The story keeps you engaged from beginning to end. Aside from all the super hot alien sexytime this wad a great listen. Lives up to the hype.

This book was ridiculously entertaining. I've never read an alien book before and to say I was skeptical would be an understatement but somewhere within the first few pages I was already obsessed with where this story was heading.

Being kidnapped from your bed by aliens is both frightening and confusing but for Georgie there is so much more going on then what it seems. She not only has been kidnapped with other women, but their ship is heading for a crash and all the women are left wondering what is going to happen. Georgie decides to take things upon herself and go out for help which is when she encounters Vektal.

Not only is Vektal an alien being but he is quite large and blue with HORNS!! Both Georgie & Vektal are unable to communicate but they quickly learn that communicating with their bodies is vastly easier.

Crazy snow creatures, caves, and a very large blue man with an even larger.... member, make up this weirdly fascinating story of finding the one you love even if they are from a completely different planet.

Quick note on the audio, it was equal parts wonderful & hilarious!! I loved listening to Vektal trying to pronounce the words that Georgie was saying and vice versa. I am hoping that Hollie Jackson & Mason Lloyd come back for book two!!

Oh, and as if I need to say it, I am 100% reading book two!!

After seeing this book pop up more than 5 times on my fyp, by different people, I decided to download it. Other than the over use of a few words (the only negative) I couldn’t stop listening and quickly download the 2nd book. Can’t wait to hear where this series go and I’m happy this kept popping up....much like other things in this book 😉

Loved this!

I have heard many great things about this series. and I could kick myself for waiting so long to start it. This was funny and sexy and I found myself giggling when Vektal couldn't understand Georgie's words. the narrators were fantastic!

I'll be listening to the next one soon!
