Can two people who have both sworn off love find forever in each other's arms? Find out in If You Were Mine, the fifth book in Bella Andre's best-selling Sullivan family contemporary romance series.

The last thing Zach Sullivan wants is to take care of his brother's new puppy for two weeks. Until he meets the dog trainer, that is. Heather is bright, beautiful, and he can't stop thinking about her. Unfortunately, she just might be the only woman on earth who wants nothing to do with him.

Heather Linsey can't believe she's stuck working with one of the city's top dogs, auto-shop tycoon Zach Sullivan. Moving on to Zach's story

Setting: San Francisco, CA. Contemporary
Genre: Romance
Narration: Ms Kaminsky gives us her usual performance. It's a good thing that all the guys aren't conversing, because there isn't a great difference in her men from one book to the next.
This is a standard romance with the focus on what keeps them from acting on their desire. Strange, because Heather is presumably a non-virgin, having had a couple of LTRs in the past, so what would be the big deal in starting a liaison. Perhaps it's because Zach is a man-ho, eschewing relationships wherein the lady is looking for marriage. There's really not much to the plot except for those personal issues which they don't share with one another. The sex is a bit graphic, but not so graphic that I would classify it as erotica.
Worth the credit if you're into the series. Actually, any of the books could almost be a stand-alone, except for the epilogue, which sets you up for the next book.

Sizzling, sexy & totally hot! Love those Sullivans

I totally loved Zack Sullivan. I was thinking that this book would be good but I did not think it could get any better with this series. I am so glad to report...I was wrong. Zack Sullivan is strong, sweet and so charming. Zack is so very sweet to Heather and helps her regain her faith in the male species. Their story is very touching and I simply can’t wait to read book #6. Please keep these books coming. They are terrific!!!! This book and the series gets 5 stars from me. I wish I could give it a 10.

Another Wonderful Series!

Title: If You Were Mine
Author: Bella Andre

Review:

"If You Were Mine" by Bella Andre was the fifth in 'The Sullivans' series and this series featured Zach Sullivan and Heather Linsey. This novel was another contemporary romantic read that connects the series together being so well written that smoothly picks up from the last series.

We find from this read Zach is a 'mogul mechanic' and loves life to its fullest. Being another one of the hottest Sullivan brother he has it all...'money, good looks and fancy cars,' however when Zach meets the beautiful Heather he soon will know that there maybe something missing in his life. When Zach is left to keep a little dog named Cuddles it doesn't take long for him to know he needs help. So he meets a dog trainer named Heather and this is where this story to take off. Zach will find Heather one beautiful lady and just what he will have to do to get Heather 'eating out his hand' because she really wants nothing to do with him. You will find from the read that both Zach and Heather have a 'scarred past.' Will they be able to learn to love and trust each other? Now, this is where I say you must pick up "If You Were Mine" to see how this will all come out. You will find all of the characters were as always well developed producing such a captivating read. I also loved the additions of the animals characters 'Atlas and Cuddles' who were delivered simply off the chart and beautifully presented.

"If You Were Mine" was truly a fun, beautiful, intriguing, sexy and very romantic read that will only lead you to the next series # 6 'Let Me Be The One.'

Another great Sullivan romance

I really liked this story of Zach Sullivan the committed “Player” falling fast and hard for the beautiful dog trainer who also had commitment issues. The story of their romance and the loving and humorous interaction with the Sullivan family made another great story. Eva Kaminsky is a super star narrator and came through with another great performance. I would highly recommend this whole series and especially this book.

Again

I love this series! Enjoying it, loving it... It just keeps going! And for someone with as much spare time as me - it's great! I wish for a more realistic storyline, but as a hopeless romantic it's perfectly fine as it is!

Sweet and funny Sullivan love story!

A nice, sweet, heartwarming Sullivan love story. The brother Zach...who will never fall in love and marry, falls in love and proposes. These stories are a breath of fresh air with all the BDSM romances out there. I have loved all the Sullivan stories so far. The narrator is very good and is the Sullivan clan!

Entertaining and Fun

This series is light and entertaining. If you are expecting great literature, you will be disappointed, but if you are looking for a well-written romance that follows the traditional formula, these stories are fun. The narration is easy to listen to, the Sullivan family are too good to be true, but likeable, and Bella Andre writes a steamy love scene as well as any I've read. Good for bedtime listening of if you want to switch your brain off and enjoy yourself.

Another passionate addition 2 the Sullivans Series

Any additional comments?

If You Were Mine is another incredibly romantic sexy addition to the Sullivans series. It seems like every time I read about the next Sullivan, I fall in love with them, and then with the whole family, all over again.Zach and Heather’s story really kept me entertained. From their first meeting where Heather gets the wrong impression of Zach, to his attempts to win her over with the cuteness that is Cuddles the Yorkie puppy, I couldn’t get enough of their evolving relationship. Not that either one of them wanted to admit that they were in a relationship. I was blown away with how sweet and loving Zach turned out to be and how hard he tried to keep Heather from getting hurt later on. His caring nature showed through in his every action (and interaction) with his family, Heather, and of course Cuddles and Atlas. I can understand how Heather’s past was something that would define how she viewed men and why she would shield her heart at all costs. But, boy, once she lets herself love someone…she loves them with everything she has. Talk about two people who are meant for each other! Also I must say that Eva Kaminsky has delivered another perfect narration.... :)

A double win for both Bella Andre and Eva Kaminsky

What did you love best about If You Were Mine: The Sullivans, Book 5?

What is not to like! It is a Sullivan book written by Bella Andre. But, that is not what you are really asking, so I will say this. It is a love story superbly written about two people determined not to fall in love.

What does Eva Kaminsky bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love the way Ms. Kaminsky tells the story, the inflections she puts in her voice during her reading of the story. She makes you see the story in your head as you are listening.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I loved the interaction between the two dogs. The way they became best friends as well. It was almost as if they were playing matchmaker as well.
