Not an AI fan

Not enough voice inflection with AI reading. …………..Characters do not have enough emotion. Word word word

Not as good at the first.

This books picks up right where the first left off which is good but Kurt Harm started evolving into an idiot, making bad decsions, drinking binges and blind infactuation. He settles on a love interest and it read like a YA story, no chemistry, and quite frankly the outcome of what happens to his lady is not what I was hoping for. This romance was silly and added nothing to the story. Some things get resolved from first book, but was unsatisfied with a lot of the story. Because of the horrible AI, I found myself drifting and would have to rewind. I hesitate but will continue with book 3 hoping it to be as top shelf as the first one. Based on the preview for #3 at end of book, the relationship gets even sillier - SPOILER - After 6 months and nothing but fun, he is getting married...seriously. I would have liked it to be more like a Jack Reacher love, where both care, but understand that what they have could not be lasting.
