liked it and then I hated the ending

liked the book hated the mom , and hated the ending totally sucks. I so wanted a different ending
but would make a great crappy scary movie lol. maybe change the ending

intense

when I first heard the child's voice I thought this was a no go. boy am I glad I didn't stop. I have never heard a story that gripped me and took me on a Rollercoaster into madness. left me thinking about it for a long time. I listen to books everyday. maybe Steven Kings the stand gave me the same feeling. don't give up on this story.

Genuinely Scary

There’s a lot to love here. This book really stands out as something special. Happy listening!!

Devastatingly scary

First time a book has actually scared me in years. I was afraid of the dark corners of my house. Physical chills. You’ve gotta read this book. This is one of the best audio book performances I’ve ever heard and I’ve listened to hundreds.

SLOW DOWN TO .90x SPEED!!!

This book is now one of my new favorites ever! Made me feel for this little girl and her family. Slowing the speed makes it easier to listen to and makes it creepier. The narrator did an amazing job 😊

Really engrossing

I finished this audiobook in a day. It kept me riveted from the start. As the end neared I was hoping it wasn’t going where I thought it was going. It did. Claustrophobic and enthralling. Fantastic all around. Well worth a credit!

YES!

I’ve been waiting for months for this book to be released and I was not disappointed! The story was spooky and I would love for this to be made into a movie. The narration was probably the best that I’ve heard in a long while. I listened to this in less than 24 hours because I just could not stop!
