Publisher's summary

Devon Sanders, a private investigator known for his efficiency and discretion, has never let a little rain stop him from solving a case. Unfortunately, the storm that is brewing in the paranormal world might just spell the end for Quintessence.

When allies turn foe and trust becomes a commodity, Devon will have to use his instincts, detective skills, and friends to save not only the students of Quintessence, but the entire paranormal community. Amidst it all, he discovers that sacrificing what is most precious to him is a lot more than he bargained for. This time, the elementals are not on his side and Devon will learn that all magic comes at a price.

Magic is elemental.

real quick.

its good. todd is good with voices but has some narrator issues. Go to your speed and crank up how fast the narration is to like 1.30 or 1.35. it makes it way better

Deeper Down the Rabbit Hole

Oh such danger and deceit wrapped family drama and simmered in treachery. I loved it! But I have a few concerns I'd like to bring up.

1. How likely is it that students can be killed and their parents don't respond. The author makes a point of saying that Hunt and Mazarae will cause havoc if something happened to their children. Yet, we had students killed but no backlash from the parents. No parents questioned whether the school was safe?

2. Why doesn't Devon act as though his mom doesn't know about magic when she dated and married two wizards. She obviously knows. Plus it might give her and Vincent some closure.

3. Henry's son is a jaguar... that flys just like the shifters from the other world. Why doesn't Henry have wings?

excellent!

This series is very diverse and entertaining. The author takes you through multiple layers of intrigue, multiple well-fleshed worlds, and keeps you hanging until the very end! Between the alt-Earth setting and the Hell-dimension, along with time disparities, you can never guess what is going to happen next! I love this quality of books! Magic is real, but hidden. Towers can take you to parallel universes, but also transport supreme bad guys... what's a guy to do? Conundrums abound and are masterfully acted out throughout the series by Todd Manassas. My 13 yr. old son and I are both ensorcelled by this series!
