Publisher's summary

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Nashoda Rose comes a sexy, new, stand-alone romance novel.

It was one night together. I wasn't supposed to see him again. I never thought I would. And then the six-foot-three cement graffiti wall of badass strode back into my life, and did it with full force.

He's protecting me from his past, and I'm protecting myself against the heated chaos he erupts in my body. It doesn't help that he can do playful and sweet when he's not doing bossy.

But the overly confident playboy Deaglan Kane is danger, has no boundaries, and is totally off-limits. And I know behind his walls there's a man with a dark and damaged past. A man more dangerous. A man who has become the greatest threat of all: the Irish Crown.

Good story

The story was good, finished the book quickly. I’ve listened to the narrator before, I like her.

That accent was AWFUL!

I needed to hear more of a man’s voice. The female voice made me want to stop reading several times. However, the story itself was a 5 star read. I loved their love story. Justine’s narration just didn’t do it for me though. I loved hearing Tim. Wish his point of view was heard more.

Can't wait to read more

Justine Eyre is my favorite narrator and I found this book wanting to listen to more of her. So glad I took a chance on this new to me author, Nashoda Rose. Can't wait to curl up and visit with more of Nashoda's characters.

fantastic

I didn't know that this was an extension of the unyielding riot series, some of the guys make an appearance. Was so enamored of the first book I'm about to read book 2 while listening to the first book of Torn Asunder. Wish all of Unyielding Riot was on Audible, hint, hint. Also hopefully Tyler and Vic will have books of their own.

Addictive Irish Read

Such passion and brusque mannerisms that made me tingle. The Irish dialogue threw me at first, until I slowed down the speed until familiarity was natural, then speeded up. Perfect fix. I believe I loved the female narrative reading the Irish male narrative more than poor male narrator. Justine probably could have carried this whole book narrative solo. Also, I couldn't plot chase this book... I didn't know what was coming next. Just wanted to swiftly
book a trip to Dublin... Hoping for my own Bad Irish mess.

LOVED...mostly:/

I loved evey single thing about this book until the very end. Why would Eva trust n believe her abusive ex and runaway without asking Declan what the deal was. After that i realized what a ninny she is. Narration was great!
