Publisher's summary

Welcome to Parnival Wonderland! Where nothing is beyond the imagination!

For Grey, life was in a good place. He'd just finished his service and had settled into a job he loved. But the difference between a good place and a great place lays in the adventure. And Grey? Grey has so much more adventure in front of him.

An adventure that starts with a chance encounter with a young woman named Billie at Mrs. Butterson's Buttery Bakery and Bistro, where he worked, and they quickly bond over warm treats and cinnamon rolls.

Billie has a secret, and it's more than just a love of sugary things.

She's from the world between worlds. She's a spirit, a core, and she's got a job that Grey is perfect for. As a park manager at Parnival Wonderland.

He'll have to learn the ropes quickly if he's to manage a steady influx of mana to keep the park manifested and fend off the incursions of darker spirits and looking for a meal.

Listen to enjoy a whimsical tale of fun and adventure in another world!

Isekai Park is the first book in the Parnival Wonderland series, a fantasy/LitRPG lite series with a base management/city builder/park management element. It contains RPG elements and limited UI functions but is not set within a video game. It will best appeal to those who enjoy slice-of-life fantasy, occasionally whimsical storytelling, and light novel storytelling.

Good and Wholesome

Wolfe locke did amazing job again. Many adventures but more on the wholesome side. This will take you back to childhood, going to tour first fair or amusement park.

What you would want in a cozy dungeon core series

A fun, low risk, story that would be perfect to listen with younger audiences around. No stats to speak of but it's definitely a Core adult little book. Kind of like Rollercoaster Tycoon meets truck-kun.

good book

I wish to get easy on the 1st of anything as they tend to be shaky. the narrator is one of my all-time favorites and easily in my top three. the writers did a bang-up job. I enjoyed the story and look forward to what might come next from them. well done to everybody who had a hand and bringing the story to us, the Audible listeners.

A fun and unique LitRPG adventure!

Wolfe Locke & Mike Caliban write another great LitRPG adventure. This is a unique take on the dungeon core theme with a focus on fun in the theme park of Parnival Wonderland. Follow Grey (human) as he learns and develops Billie's (the core) fun world! I already look forward to book 2 and the rest of the series! Audio Version: Jessica Threet does a great job with the narration as always.

Its an Isekai and Theme Park, a great ride so far

A new original isekai story, a mix we have not seem before. Isekai and running a theme park and the joys that come with that. Its like a slice of life anime and roller coaster tycoon got mixed into a pot and set free. There are no explicit scenes in this story so it is safe for all audiences. Looking forward to book 2.

Low stakes, high praise

this was an awesome slice of life book. It was relaxing, which was a good change of pace. the narrator did awesome bringing the charaters to life! I think there are some pretty fun surprises for everyone, and it's low stakes makes it to where anyone can listen, even with kids in the car.

It's Pretty Much What You Would Expect.

Our protagonist separates from military service and starts an easy-going life in a bakery. Due to his kind and empathetic attitude, he becomes the best (only) candidate to assist a desperate dungeon core in her survival by helping her create and manage an amusement park. Jessica Threet does a great job in narrating, which is nothing new if one is familiar with her work.

The story is very easy-going and relaxing. The characters are adorable at best and interestingly bland at worse. New spiritual guests and attractions give life to the whole dungeon park theme and provide a refreshing experience to usual doom 'n gloom or high-stake epic fantasy type stories. Yet, as interesting as this story was, it was almost too mellow.

Overall, this was a tranquil fantasy theme ride narrated by a high tiered voice actress, providing a rounded experience.
