Publisher's summary

Jett Olsson isn’t looking for anything serious, and she’s not looking for anything at all, so why does it seem so hard to keep it professional?

I love my life - the thrill of being on the ice as part of the Arizona Vengeance, the rush of winning, the adoration of the fans. And if that adoration means I don’t have to spend the night alone, well even better. I’m content being single and always ready to mingle. But the day Emory Holland walks into a Vengeance team meeting, my attention is caught like never before. I can tell right away she’s full of smarts and sass, and the fact that she’s hot as hell sure doesn’t hurt either. She immediately shuts down my advances, so I opt for the road less traveled - straight to the friend zone.

My approach works like a charm, and when she invites me into her bed for a no-strings, friends-with-benefits arrangement, I vow to give her everything I have. She’s been hurt before, and if I’m able to help her heal while giving her a spectacularly satisfying time (pats self on back), then I’ll be happy. Or at least, that’s the lie I keep telling myself, as the time ticks down on the final buzzer of our “relationship”. Now the real question is, can I score the winning goal in a game neither of us realized we were playing?

Great story in this series!

Jett and Emory's story was another great read in this series. The team that we have come to know and love all make an appearance as Jett woos Emory in the front office. He quickly learns that he is willing to do away with the single life for Emory and her daughter. This story was sweet and I loved how protective Jett was of Emory and her family. This was a great story in this series.

The narrators did a great job bring these characters to life. They did a good job with the accents.

British accents, single mom troupe and of course hockey!

Another great book in the Arizona Vengeance series!! Jett’s a story is a single mom troupe, coworkers and friends to lovers. Well, friends with benefits to lovers! Jett definitely wants her at first but that comes to a halt when he finds out she has a daughter. He doesn’t dislike kids but has no desire for one himself. Instead they both decide friends with benefits works for both of them. But we all know, those waters can quickly get murky. Can they keep it just as friends or will those lines get muddy and things change?

“We keep it easy, we take it day by day, we don’t have expectations other than having a good time with together, being monogamous and we let this go where this goes.”

Emma Wilder is a narrator I love but for this book she had an accent for the character she was portraying. I absolutely love Emma’s narrations but British accents aren’t for me so I was a little put off by it but that’s my own preference! She did a fabulous job, just a heads up! Tor Thom was a new to me narrator and he did a fantastic performance!

Fun, Heartfelt and Sizzling Romance!

I really enjoyed this sweet and Steamy romance! Jett has been laying on the charm to convince the new gorgeous team VP of Digital Marketing and Analytics since she first walked into a team meeting. Emory is smart and sassy, and isn't falling for Jett's charms. She has been hurt before and has more important priorities and has no interest in falling for a co-worker who has a reputation as a player. But Jett is more than his reputation and he is determined to win Emory over, complications and all. The more time Emory spends with Jett, the more she sees how sweet, and thoughtful he is. But when her past shows up at her door, causing more fear and pain in her life, can she give Jett what he needs or let him go breaking both their hearts. I fell so fast and hard, and became so invested in these wonderfully fun, and flawed characters, and their story hooked me right from the start! Emory was so smart, sassy, and caring, and Jett is charming, sweet, protective, and deliciously dirty. I loved them together, and their chemistry exploded off the page.
I always enjoy listening to Emma Wilder, and Tor Thom's narration. They did an amazing job bringing this heartwarming and sizzling story to life, immersing me in their world, and making this fun, heartfelt, and sizzling romance even more captivating!

A great addition to this series!

A great addition to this series! I really enjoyed this friends to lovers storyline. Jett and Emory have great chemistry. Add in a dash of angst and you’ll be hooked until the end. Narration was fantastic!

Fabulous friends to lovers romance

Oh my word, you don't know how to swoon until you read Jett. Good Lord is Jett the swooniest hockey heroine yet (or of the top few anyways). I loved how this really developed into a close friendship and into more. Emory is tough. Being a single mom puts a woman in a tough situation. Once she let's Jett in she doesn't stand a chance against him.

Emma Wilder and Tom Thor really brought these characters to life. Wilder always brings life to the heroine's she reads but I really loved her portrayal of Emory. She's a bit closed off and definitely unsure of her footing with Jett. Wilder is ablento really channel her quirks and bring them to life. Thor does an awesome job with Jett's narration. He started out bring the playboy of the team until he saw Emory. He quickly was entranced and knew what he wanted. I loved how Thor really seemed to bring this character to life.

Learning to love again

Emory has had her share of heartache so she isn't looking for a relationship but when her and Jett become more than friends she sees him as someone she could love.

Jett is the dedicated bachelor with no strings attached but Emory has wrapped herself around more than his body, she has captured his heart and her along with her daughter he sees his future changing.

This book touches on the heartache and disappointment of dealing with an addict, it has lots of learning to heal and put yourself back out there in the risk of being hurt. This one doesn't focus as much on the team although the characters are still there it focuses on Emory and shows her strength and fears and just everyday life. I really enjoyed it.

Emma Wilder and Tor Thom were great to listen to.

This is a great series and I enjoyed this book.

Unexpected friendship and more

Jett is the tenth book in the Arizona Vengeance series but it can be read as a stand alone. The release of this book was perfect to get back into the series after the break the author took with the series to be just after the Stanley Cup. It was a great to get wrapped up with the fictional characters of the Vengeance as a continuation of the real life hockey season.
This book had me listening as often as I could because I needed to know what was going to happen next. There were several surprises that I was not expecting that had me unable to stop. There were the ups and downs and all the other feels. The narrators did an awesome job in bringing all the characters to life that I could feel what the characters were experiencing. My heart was reaching out to the characters. It is so much more than just Jett and Emory and the supporting characters added to this story. I also enjoyed getting to catch up with the other team members and where their life is now.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series and I hope that this series continues for awhile as I’m not ready to leave this team.

Wonderful story!

I can't get enough of the Arizona Vengeance series! Jett and Emory's story is no different. They both have reasons to keep their fling casual and not complicated but as their friendship turns to more, both get the HEA neither expected.

Emma Wilder and Tor Thom did a wonderful job narrating Jett and Emory's story.

How the mighty have fallen (in love)

Audio update:
Applause to Emma Wilder and Tor Thom. Your performances of this book were spectacular!! You brought the story even more to life for me, and made me love it even more.

Fantastic Story!!! Annnnd, I should have known. “Should have known” what, you ask? Going into this book, the character Jett Olsson was not one of my favorite heroes. I will state, right here, right now, I was wrong. The further I read into the book, the more I fell for Jett Olsson, he totally redeemed himself in my eyes. Sorry, Ladies, I will not give anything away. I will say this, I cried at the “father/daughter dance”!!!
Ms. Bennett, we NEEEEED Baden’s story!!! I have been cheering for him from the very beginning!! Aaannnd, the more I read about him, the more I want to know what happened to Riggs, so, I need his story too!!!
I LOVE the “hockey romance” trope and in my opinion, Sawyer Bennett is one of best “hockey romance” writers out there!!
I was gifted with a copy of this wonderful book for my reading pleasure, and my opinions of the book.

This book is everything

This read is everything my heart needs and Longs for. Jett is the single guy looking for nothing serious and what a stumble he takes when he decides to take a chance in Emm the single mom. I absolutely loved the narration and the Emma and Tor brought these two to life in the most perfect of ways. The story itself had some intriguing what is going to happen now as you see these two falling for eAch other

Truly a magnificent listen and I loved all the supporting characters and want and need more from them now too
