Publisher's summary

Something very weird is happening to Dawn and Rory, and it's not just their new step-family. Slurping slobberers want to suck their bones out. Strange steel sheep want to smash them to pieces. Giant frogs want to crunch them up. Cruel killer creepers want to squeeze the life out of them. Their parents can't help them. Dawn and Rory are on their own. It's wild. It's wacky. It's Wicked!

Editorial reviews

It's bad enough that Rory and Dawn are brand-new stepsiblings who don't like each other, but weird and creepy things suddenly begin to happen, forcing them to team up anyway. The pair takes turns narrating the events from their own point of view, and narrators Kate Hosking and Stig Wemyss manage to capture their distinct personalities in vibrant and colorful detail. Rory and Dawn squabble their way through wormy slobberers, giant frogs, and monstrous sheep, and the narrators will remind listeners of an excitable friend whose stories are filled with bang-on impressions and enthusiastic details. Children and adults alike will find themselves wishing for more of Rory and Dawn's scary and fun adventures.
