Great book! Very educational yet personal.

I listened to this book over a 7 hour road trip. The time flew by and soon I was home recommending it to my siblings!

Helpful to young daughter

I am a 35 year old caring for a mother dealing with brain tumors. The education, suggestions, & encouragement have been so helpful during this season.

Informative & Practical

Walking through this journey of dementia with my parents I have struggled to know how to help my mom be a care partner & how to communicate with my dad since they live 4 hours away. I stumbled across this book a few days ago & am familiar with The 5 Love Languages so thought this might be helpful. Once I got started I couldn't read it fast enough! That's why I decided to try to listen to it. I like to take notes & was able to with this app but had to go back to the hard copy to highlight passages. I know there is a bookmark function but I'm still unsure exactly how to use it.
As far as the book goes, our doctors have provided little to no information or resources for support they just want to say "wait & see" or write prescriptions. This book not only gave me a thorough but not too clinical explanation of what the different types of dementia are & what is going on physiologically but then gave practical & emotional advice on how to support both of my parents! The authors did this in a concise manor with many wonderful, hopeful real examples.
The voice & speed of narration were perfect for me.

2nd time and planning another

This finishes my 2nd time and I'm planning another read every few weeks. The book is helpful in adjusting my thinking and caring for my loved one with Lewy Body dementia. Thank you to all who created this book.

Good book

I am on the dementia journey with my parents and it was nice, although heartbreaking, to hear what could happen in the future. I think I am better prepared for what is to come.
