Publisher's summary

A mysterious caravan. An affliction left in their wake.

Townspeople are being struck blind after a group of travelers pass through, each victim’s eyes removed by an ethereal whip and replaced with shadowy black pits.

Calec and Serileen pursue the caravan, hunting a specific merchant who is a suspect in Serileen’s mother’s death. But the number of victims climb and draws them deeper into the Horseman’s web of deceit.

Serileen aims to uncover the lies of the merchant in question while Calec must unmask an adversary bent on destroying the caravan from within.

There are no clues left behind and no alibis, only haunting visions seen by the afflicted.

As Calec draws closer, the Horseman’s whip will lash out for him—at the potential cost of his life and soul.

Good, voice however not.

The voice is monotone the story suffers in my opinion for that fact. I jumped in mid series so not invested in their story arcs.
