LA Metro major success!
LA Metro is a wonderful, romantic, book that catches your attention from the first sentence on. The characters are strong and believable and the romance between them is steamy!
I have been a fan of RJ Nolan for many years and have consistently been impressed with her writing.

Love love the narrator's voice!
The writer handles a hard topic with finesse and it is overall a very enjoyable story and an amazing listen due to Angela Dawe's voice.
Some parts which have to do with working in a medical field would benefit from a consult with an expert in a medical field. eg, a resident calling the attending by the first name and a few others which I would not mention as not to reveal too much of the story.
Overall highly recommend!

enjoyed!
I enjoyed the story line of this book. Jess has a secret that holds her back from getting to know Kim,as they both work the ER. Not a lot of steamy sex in this book but the story line is enjoyable. I will listen to this audible book again at a later date because I liked it so much!

Spectacular story of reclaiming your heart.
This book just touched so many emotions. Really amazing professional woman who have been kicked by patriarchy at its worst. Perhaps it is true that time heals but Kim and Jess needed each other to find a healing future. Angela Dawe brings everyone to life, even little Tara who grabbed my heart. The dialogue was openly challenging and very wity but raw at times. The relationship built by the main characters is strong and embraces all of live. I love this R.J. Nolan and will be reading more of her work.

Fabulous Medical Romance
L.A. Metro is a wonderful medical romance between Doctors Kim Donovan and Jess McKenna. RJ Nolan spins a fabulous tale through a tenuous friendship, working through past painful relationships, and dealing with the crazy life of a metropolitan hospital and its politics to forge a lasting love. Angela Dawe brings the story to life. I'm excited to read the rest of this series.

Neither are perfect but they’re perfect for each other!
This is a story filled with spicy romance, true hearts, trauma and wisdom, all rolled into a hospital romance novel. WOW… right? What this story made me think about is this- people and things can hurt us and break off parts of our hearts and this never leaves a smooth edge. Only those who haven’t experienced trauma are that lucky and they can easily fit their smooth edges together and go on. In this story, and for anyone who has been through trauma, we have to find another person with ragged edges; and their edges have to match our own. That’s a little bit more challenging. The real story and each character’s truth is revealed to us, layer by layer, as the author solves the mystery of how these character’s imperfections make them perfect for each other. This book is beautifully written by R J and Angela does an outstanding job of narrating! Highly recommended!
