This program is read by the author, and includes audio-exclusive bonus tips.

Patric Richardson, aka the "Laundry Evangelist,” reveals his revolutionary methods for cleaning clothes - and making laundry loads more fun.

Doing laundry is rarely anyone’s favorite task. But to Patric Richardson, laundry isn't just fun - it's a way of life. After years of running Laundry Camp at the Mall of America for thousands of eager learners, he's ready to share his tips, tricks, and hacks - bringing surprise and delight to this commonly dreaded chore.

Sorting your laundry? It's not all about whites and darks. Pondering the wash cycles? Every load, even your delicates, should be washed using express or quick-wash on warm. Facing expensive dry cleaning bills? You'll learn how to wash everything - yes, everything - at home. And those basically clean but smelly clothes? Richardson has a secret for freshening those too (hint: It involves vodka, not soap).

Changing your relationship with laundry can also change your life. Richardson’s handy advice shows us how to save time and money (and the planet!) with our laundry - and he intersperses it all with a healthy dose of humor, real-life laundry stories, and lessons from his Appalachian upbringing and career in fashion.

Laundry Love will make you wonder why you ever stressed about ironing, dry cleaning, or (god forbid) red wine spills on your new couch. No matter the issue, Richardson is here to help you make laundry miracles happen - wrinkles and stains be damned.

If I had know

I love listening to Patric's voice explaining how to get out the stains that plague our lives! As a grandmother of 7, four of them grandsons, I especially enjoy hearing his stories about him with his Grandmothers and family. The ONLY thing I wasn't happy about is the pdf. I do love having the recipes written down so I can print out and make in my kitchen, BUT I REALLY need the laundry room list, the alphabetic stain remover list....those kind of pages we don't have in getting the audio version. I have tried to find the book with no luck (sold out). Thinking that the pdf would have the info I needed I purchased the audio version. The lists I try to make while at a stop light or rewinding in the parking lot of the store is just not very efficient for me without a better pdf. I do love the book and the info it provides, I just don't have the memory to make the audible version successful for me.

Great information

I wish this book had an easy to search index or more precise table of contents so one could go back and find details when ready to do a laundry task

Uplifting, fun and transformative!

This little book was a pure delight from beginning to end. I loved it so much that I am now ordering a hard copy to keep on hand! Patric’s reading of the audiobook added an extra special dimension to the information and stories! I highly recommend Laundry Love!

I'll listen again!

I have the hard copy-love it and will refer to it often! Don't forget to check out the PDF if you only have the audible. Patrick is calm, soothing, insightful, fun and informative. I love and share his beliefs about serving others, having fun while you work and taking care of your clothes weather they are inexpensive second hand or brand new high end . I love that he honors the people in his life that nurtured, supported and influenced him. There is a wealth of laundry (and moral) knowledge in this book.

Joy Found In That Common Chore

This is an amazing book. I'm currently on my second listen. I restarted it as soon as I finished. Patric's performance is conversational which makes the listen that much more enjoyable, and quite honestly, rather soothing. (He could have a second career as an audible narrator) I feel much more confident in wearing some of my more expensive clothes now that....my clothes can no longer boss me around! I've thrown out all the toxic supplies and ordered what he recommends and am excited to begin playing in the laundry room.

A must read for any type of caregiver

Wow! As a stay at home mom, was excited to read this for check list style tips and tricks, but I was not ready to fall in love with the author and all of those in his life he spoke about. I purchased the audio version to listen to during nap time and for my me time at night. I found myself so lost in Patric’s voice and stories. This book became my happy place that as a bonus also gave great advice on laundry. I’ve immediately implemented a few changes and look forward to adding in more and more. So far, I could not be happier… other than missing my nightly dose of bliss.

I have also since purchased a paper copy to keep in my laundry room as a quick reference guide and honestly just something special to make me smile while doing my chores.

A fun listen & great tips!

First, the author narrates his book and he’s quite enjoyable! If you think you know everything there is to know about laundry, Patric is here to tell that you might not? I thought I knew mostly what I needed to know about laundry, being good on the environment, stains, etc. but I learned multiple new tips from this book. And I’m sure, even a mother of 4+ children could also find this helpful. His fun little stories of childhood shopping and doing laundry with his Aunts and his Grannies make it so much more enjoyable. I will add that oddly, I had an increased level of enjoyment doing my laundry this week! And I also feel like I want a mural in my laundry room now!
If you listened to the audiobook, remember to get the PDF, so you don’t have to go back and listen again, with pen and notepad.

You show love through doing laundry well

If you love to do laundry, this book is for you. Patric does a wonderful job of telling his story of laundry love. It is charming, as well as instructional and informative. This book has given me the confidence that I can remove almost any stain and clean my clothes in a way that’s friendly to the environment.

THis is going to be a gift for people

Where has this been all my life and why does Patric's cleaning passion bring me joy? This is a book where you do need the actual book to use as a reference.
