Zack is convinced that his daughter's boyfriend, Kyle Flanagan, is bad news. Melody's job is to try to dig up dirt on Kyle. Unfortunately, the case isn't nearly as simple as it seems to be. Before long, Melody realizes that not everything is as it seems. What is really going on?

Well-written stories from a very good author

Truffles, Tirades, and Trouble, Shortcake, Surprises, and Secrets, & Cookies, Curiosity and Craziness (Melody Clue), My seventy-seventh short read/listen from prolific author Meredith Potts, Well-written & enjoyable, another cute, clean cozy mystery. “I received a free Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. AS always I was impressed and enjoyed the vocal variety & inflections of narrator Stephanie Quinn. I look forward to reading more in this series & from this author. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Great Read

Majestic Cove Mysteries Books 4-6 Box Set was a great read by Meredith Potts. This box set consists of; Truffles, Tirades, and Trouble; Shortcake, Secrets, and Surprises; and Cookies, Curiosity, and Craziness. These books follow Melody Clue investigating many new mysteries in Majestic Cove. I enjoyed these books and can't wait to read more by Meredith Potts.

Excellent

Always enjoyable and the narration by Stephanie is superb. We have Melody asked to investigate a murder, is she over her head to try. Then with the return of a boyfriend after four years, Melody wants answers, but will she get. The last was my favorite a concern father hires her to investigate a boyfriend, and finds a lot more. Enjoyable, cozy mysteries to listen to. Given audio for my voluntary review

THREE STORIES WITH UNEXPECTED OUTCOMES

I received these audio books for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review

Melody Clue is at it again. First, she proves her friend Amy is innocent, with no animosity from her friend, Scott, the detective that arrested Amy. Next, she finds out why Scott returned to Majestic Cove from San Francisco, being that Majestic Cove held traumatic memories of his parents’ deaths. Lastly, Melody and her mother deal with the death of her father on his birthday and a case where what she’s looking for is not what is happening.

The narration is okay. The voice almost sounds like the narrator is bored. I give the narration a 3.5.

Another get yummy mystery! Would love to solve the mysteries, from pastry 🍰 to ice cream 🍨

Cute stories

There are three stories included in this box set, all about Melanie, a private investigator. I actually liked the third book the best, it had some interesting twists and didn't revolve around murder.

Melody is at it again and this time it’s to prove one of her clients is innocent of Murder. Such a clever way to solve the murder too. On to the next!

Shortcakes, Secrets and Surprises

We finally get to see why Scott came back home and boy is it a doozy! Such a fun listen where we can see more into the minds of the main characters.

Cookies, Curiosity and Craziness

Melody finally has a new case, but with this one nothing is as it seems. Such a fun listen!

Great cozy mysteries

This is a 3 book addition to her series. It includes Truffles Tirades and Trouble. You have Amy Dearborn calling Melody clue to talk with her. Melody has helped her in the past and she knows Melody is the only one who can help her. Supposedly for killing her EX boyfriend. The police are now done with their investigation. Can Melody Help her? As usual the storied are clean without frank sex and the characters are believable and interesting. Book #2 is Shortcake, Secrets and Surprises. The storyline maintains your interest. The storyline maintains your interest. Melody has many questions for Scott Webster detective who has returned to Majestic Cove a few weeks back. He always changes the subject and it makes her more curious. Book #3 cookies Curiosity and Craziness. You have a Dad not liking his daughters boyfriend and wants Melody to investigate him because he dresses differently, has tattoos and he just knows he is bad news. Melody agrees to take the case. You have to read to see how all this turns out. As usual her books change into many paths. You won't want to stop reading. Always clean, cozy mystery.

Suspenseful

As always there is lots of action to keep you intrigued. Suspense aplenty to please everyone. The narrator makes it easy to listen.
