Didn’t want it to end!

This book was incredible! I didn’t want it to end , but couldn’t wait to find out what happened. The crooked people involved, the coverups, the lies, just perfect. The suspense and description of what unfolded. I felt like I was right there. I can’t wait to listen to another of his books.

Engaging and Enrolling

Scott Brick does an excellent job of reading Mayday. He brings life to an enrolling and engaging book. A good read or listen.

OMFG SOOOOOOO GOOD!

This is not my typical genre. I didn’t expect to be sucked in like I was. I love Nelson DeMille and this is one one his best.

And frustrating at the selfishness and disregard for life for personal gain
That you know is really out there!!!

Loved this story so much!

I loved it! Kept me on the edge of my seat. I wanted everybody to go away until I finished listening. Awesome narration, too! Fabulous!

A great book!

This is a great book! Could not put it down. Well balanced plots and developed characters…all that we expect from Mr. DeMille. But he really tightens the screws on what’s happening and what might happen next! Regarding the advice to not read it while on a flight? Ignore that at your peril! LOL By the way, Scott Brick is excellent, as always. I could listen to him read me the phone book. ;-)

Outstanding reader.

I liked the clash of ethical and moral issues that the major characters faced and how the forces of greed and self preservation on each were interwoven into the story.

Mayday

I’ve read most of Nelson DeMille’s books, and loved every one. This one didn’t disappoint. Nonstop suspense from beginning to end. This collaboration with Thomas Block, and the expert narration by one of my favorites, Scott Brick, makes this audio book a can’t miss. Get it. Guarantee you’ll love it and have a hard time putting it down.

Makes a disaster fun.

Although the story has quite a bit of gratuitous grossnesses (?) with unbelievable events and plot twists, that's what makes it fun. I couldn't stop listening as I had to know what kind of trouble these folks would get into next. The narrator is kind of stiff, but I think we're all getting spoiled by Scott Brick. If you can put Mr Brick out of your mind, Mr Prichard isn't too bad.

If you aren't obsessed with accurate details and logical plot, but just what a good nail biter, then this is the book for you. Otherwise, read Up Country.

Never been scared to fly....TILL NOW

I could not put this book down!

I have to admit, the first 30 minutes are a bit slow, but necessary in setting up the characters. But then...the book takes off. I wish I hadn't started Mayday late in the day, as I did not want to stop listening. At 3AM, I finally forced myself to stop listening, and at least get a few hours sleep!

Scott Brick, as usual does an excellent job narrating.
