Fall in love at Castle Mountain Lodge!

Eva Andrews would do anything for her best friend, even if it means dropping everything to plan a last minute wedding at Castle Mountain Lodge. Especially when the last thing she feels like doing is celebrating love now that she's sworn off men. And with Jeff Michaels, the rugged and all too good-looking ranch hand determined to get in her way, it won't be easy.

Jeff's never wanted more than the life he has at the Lodge, but an exciting new job opportunity and the arrival of a beautiful - albeit frustrating - woman have him second-guessing everything.

They know how to push each other's buttons, but their attraction is impossible to ignore. Castle Mountain Lodge is known for bringing couples together, but can Eva and Jeff can get out of their own way long enough to see what they could have - together?

A sweet, contemporary romance.

Falling In Love - It's a Trend at the Lodge!

Welcome to the Lodge! I feel as if I was there, experiencing the love, the cozy atmosphere, meeting old friends, invited to a wedding. Great move Elena, to give us an update on Andi and Colin. After reading the first two books, it was great finding out what happens next.

Eva Andrew is a wedding planner and will go to any lengths to make her best friend's wedding special. She meets a good looking man who pushes all her wrong buttons and she's not sure how to manage that. Lots of sparks fly, lots of chemistry between them.

Jeff's goal seems to be getting Eva on a horse... a horse he chose for her. She is busy trying to make sure Andi' s wedding is perfect and cannot afford the time to tolerate Jeff's seeming interest. Will she eventually figure out what he has to offer?

Our old friends Bo, Morgan, Ella, and Carmen are also showcased and adds interest to the continuance of the series. The light hearted romance with some pretty interesting supporting characters, the well described scenes, as well as the setting in the woods in a magical Christmas Lodge, makes for romantic trysts.

The narrator (Jennifer Drake Ford) entices us with her dramatic voice representations and adds to the whole listening experience of this happy ever after book.

Thanks Elena, it gets better and better. I enjoyed every moment of this book and would recommend it highly.

Eva & Jeff

Although I enjoyed this book, the story was kind of predictable, but still good. I love most of Elena Aitken's books and am looking forward to listening to others in this series. I wish Aitken had all her books on audio!!

Such a sweet story

First of all these two need to get out of their own way. Second... how can a woman, or better yet, a group of women not understand pregnancy symptoms?

Not my favorite heroine.

I generally enjoy sweet romances. Not a lot of thinking needed to enjoy them. This one is sweet ans sassy.

Eva is not my favorite kind of character. She is just too high maintenance for my taste. I often found her spoiled and childish. She isn't un-likeable, just annoying at times.

Jeff is such a great guy!!!! Super sweet and yummy. He excels at the playful banter. I came around to him and Eva having chemistry in the end, but I will not say it is a love match yet.

The story tends to drag a bit, perhaps because of my dislike of the heroine. It is a mixed narrative and I found my self far from loving her POV. It was the whole spoiled brat attitude.

The story is a totally clean romance, all they do is kiss a few times. There is chemistry and they talk about hooking up as a possibility but they never get close to a bedroom scene.

I listened to the audiobook narrated by Jennifer Drake Ford, who is lovely. She has a terrific pace ans adds energy to the read. She delivers Eva with less whine than the character deserves, and I thank her for that! Many would have taken her too far. I have very much enjoyed her read and hope to find more of her in the future!

Overall, this was not my favorite book in the series, but it was still entertaining. I hope to see the other supporting cast find their HEA soon! In audio of course!
