a wonderful mystery
a wonderful story with suspense all the way through, I enjoyed remembering the English language that I I've lived in the states for so long forgotten part of it. I recommend this story to everyone who likes this type of mystery.

The story line

Murder on Charles street
I like the stories pretty well they were done very pleasingly. I think that they made her look like she’s too manly instead of caring for the captain Whalen

Clever and fun
After listening to the entire series so far , I have enjoyed it … great narration! Good storyline and plots . However , the constant internal conflict over Weyland started to become annoying. Tension is always great, but it was overdone a bit .

A fun and easy listen

Weak story, excellent performance
If it wasn’t for the wonderful reader, I don’t think I would have finished this one. The “mystery” had barely any suspects and the “investigation” included an incredibly silly plot to lure the culprit into revealing himself. The whole thing felt lacking which reads like laziness on author’s part as there was good fodder for a deeper, fun view of Catherine’s personality. Also, Catherine’s ability to miraculously pull a perfect love match out of thin air is tired and adds nothing to the story. Too bad as the characters are fun. But the last two books just are not making an effort.
