Mark Ferguson has been in the real estate business for more than 20 years completing more than 200 house flips. He also owns more than 200k square feet of commercial and residential rental properties and is a the broker/owner of Blue Steel Real Estate in Greeley, Colorado.
Over the years, Mark has had more than his fair share of crazy things happen to him or his properties. Many of these things were out of his control and some were directly his fault!
- Owned a meth house that was busted by the cops and then burned down
- Had to complete a 500 tire eviction
- Sellers with 11 cats who wouldn’t move after selling the house
- Previous owners suing the bank on a foreclosure he just bought
- Buying Hoarder houses with massive dead snakes
- Helping the police bust animal hoarders
- Making dumb decisions buying horrible houses
- Disgruntled contractors filing liens
- Buying a high-end house with a 10 year lease in place
- Buying many houses sight unseen and discovering why you shouldn’t always do that
All of these stories and much more are detailed in this book. Mark has never been scared to take on a challenge and that has not always worked out for the best. He talks a lot about his good deals; flips, rentals, businesses, etc. on YouTube and social media. But these are the bad and crazy deals!
