The story was good but could do without the sound effects. Just read the story!

THIS is how you write a thriller!!!

This was my first book by this author and I believe this may be the best mystery/thriller I have ever read!!! In fact it is. I am writing a mystery/thriller novel and one thing I dislike about most of the authors and books out is that they are predictable or I can figure it out or the plot twists just don’t make sense!! I love when a book has multiple POV’s and short chapters. Never have I ever listened to an audiobook for HOURS straight especially on a Friday night. I started Thursday and I believe I listened to this for like 6 hours today and it’s 2 am. I have so many bought so many books I did not finish recently that lost my interest and just couldn’t hold my attention. Alice Feeney knows exactly how to build suspense and keep you hooked!! I had no intention of finishing this book tonight but it was too good to stop. Thank you so much for the happy ending…I was praying Birdie and the dog would be ok and then praying she would end up with her daughter. Alice Feeney is my new favorite writer!!!!!

Great story!

I did not appreciate the sound effects, especially a door creaking open while trying to fall asleep. The sound effects (running, doors, recordings) were not necessary. Loved the characters and the story. Would not mind reading about them in another adventure.

keep going through the confusion

I was definitely confused and was wondering am I missing something but it’s so worth it I definitely enjoyed all the characters and plus the ending didn’t see it coming

This book has been the best I’ve ever listened to. Definitely recommend 100/10 wish there was a second part
