Publisher's summary
He doesn’t remember he is supposed to save the world.
In the war-torn realm of the Worforgon, King Arken Shadowborn leads a relentless army of dragon-riding warriors, spreading chaos and fear. Amidst the devastation, a man named Stone emerges, reborn from a forgotten grave, his past a blank canvas.
Stone grapples not only with the external chaos but also the tumult within himself. His journey is not merely a physical one; it is a soul-searching odyssey into the heart of his own identity. Forgotten memories claw at the edges of his consciousness, a constant reminder of the mystery that shrouds his purpose. The burden of being the prophesized savior weighs heavily on Stone's shoulders, a mantle he never sought.
In the company of his loyal friends, Ceres and Adler, Stone embarks on a quest that transcends the physical realm. The Mountain of the Mystics beckons, and the Majestic Wilds hold the key to unlocking the prophecy. Each step forward is a struggle against the unknown, a journey into the depths of self-discovery.
As Stone faces the formidable Arken Shadowborn and his draconic army, the emotional turmoil within him mirrors the raging battles on the war-torn landscape. The Dark King's malevolence casts a long shadow over Stone's resolve, testing the very core of his being. Doubt, fear, and the weight of an entire world's hope converge in a tempest within his soul.
Riders of Dark Dragons is now Complete! This 5-book series begins here with Mystics on the Mountain and concludes with War of the Mystics.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Interesting story but poorly performed
The story premise was interesting but the prose was somewhat prosaic. There was some issues with continuity of details with the main characters being stranded without money, supplies even cloaks then suddenly having all those things without any explanation of how they appeared. There is also a shift in and out of dialect in the dialog that is distracting. These are minor things compared to the AI generated voice. It is lacking much expression and does not change tone or timber for different characters. I found myself zoning out a bit at times. I sure miss the use of a voice actor or actors. AI has a long way to go before replacing the real thing.
