Nekropo

I've read this before but forget how it ended. Spot on narration and the pacing of the book kept me listening. Now I can listen to book two in the series. Did I mention the funny parts, because there is levity in the dire parts. Overall good read.

absolutely lovely

This is one heck of a hilarious witty ride. I loved every second of it and hope another continuation comes out.

Dead on arrival

The one thing I detest in audio books is when the narrator mispronounces words...COMMON words...

A decent read

Any additional comments?

This book was enjoyable to listen to, the narrator did a good job. The story isn't bad, but plays out a lot like the typical who-done-it mystery. What I enjoyed most about this listen was the imagination that was put into the various creatures that inhabit this alter world. There are a couple of well scripted moments that gave me some great visuals in my head and made me feel like I was there, witnessing something otherworldly.

But overall, this doesn't rate more than 3 stars in my book. It just doesn't stand out in the way that some of the other series I listen to do.
