Amazing🎧📚🎧 Enthralling & Masterfully Done!

Rachel Jonas and Nikki Thorne continue to wow me with this second book of their “Kings of Cypress Prep” series. This book picks up where the first book “The Golden Boys” left off, be sure to read that first, or even better listen to the audiobook, it is amazing and I highly recommend it. The first book had a mind-blowing ending and in this book we watch the aftermath play out, Riley Blue holds her own against the bullies and West Golden tries to save face and dig himself out of one the biggest mistakes he has even met. It was great to see another side of him, the golden boy probably never had to grovel or repent for anything in his life, but he has finally found something worth fighting for. Riley, the girl from Southside is a fighter, she had to be just to survive and get the things she and her sister needs. She does not trust easy so can forgive West, can she ever trust him again. West has secrets, ones he can not share but he can not be full in if he does not give all. I loved how everything played out in this book, the story is brilliantly plotted and there is never a dull moment. In addition to the relationship drama, there is family drama for both Riley and West, both their fathers are POS, I love the mystery behind West’s Dad, the plot is thickening and is leading to something big, the man wreaks of power and danger, he is involved in something big and something very bad. I have an inkling of what it may be but for the sake of Riley, West and his brothers I hope I am wrong. Speaking of his brothers, love the camaraderie amongst them, also love Riley and her her sister’s bond. It is great to see @QweenPandora’s commentary continues, I hope her identity is revealed in the end, I am trying to guess who it may be. Rachel Jonas and Nikki Thorne thank you for another awesome story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I can not wait to see what happens next, I hope it is coming out on audio soon!!

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Neill Thorne, Lessa Lamb & Sarah Puckett are fabulously talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They continue to do an outstanding job bringing these characters to life. They have a complete understanding of the characters they are portraying, give each a voice that is a perfect fit for their character’s persona sounding believable in that role and just as I pictured them to sound. Neill Thorne’s West is spot on, he transitioned his role as the character did, lightening up his alpha-hole alpha-tude a bit. Lessa Lamb’s Blue continues to be badass and Sara Puckett continues as the perfect QweenPandora. They set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the characters’ emotions and project them into their performance. All three are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen.

Fantastic

Great continuation of the series. I love how Wes turns from a mean bully to a sweetheart for Blue. The narration is spot on. The storyline is paced great . I can’t wait to see why the slug of a father Wes dad ends up doing.

I have been drawn by this series since the 1st page. It is the perfect mix of all the things I love! It has that back and forth chemistry that you can just feel in your bones. Enemies to Lovers has never looked so good! Not only that though, this has suspense, Angst, Heat, and humor! I looove the addition of Pandora and her drama adding a total Gossip Girl feel to amazing story. I can not say enough good things.

Narration on this baby is perfection! Lessa Lamb adds so much flavor and feeling to her characters. Neill has that smooth voice you could listen to all day not to mention he has some fantastic acting he brings to the table as well. Sarah Puckett is fantastic at adding that Sassy Pandora Flare to trio. Love love love it!

I highly recommend this series- If you love enemies to lovers- Jump on this!

I can’t wait to hear the final book! This is worth the credits. It’s hard to make a teenage drama sound appealing and they nailed it!!!

Fantastic story but you should really listen to the first book first. Narrators were great but Blue's character was a little dramatic and that made me dislike her a little. She said (I'm seeing red) way too often with no way to back that up but overall, it was an excellent story with great Narrators

Wonderful continuation to the trilogy. Book has interesting characters, lots of suspense, and plenty of angst with great narration.

Pulling my hair here! Errrrrr!

Very interesting from beginning to the end. The main characters go through a lot in the beginning and with the short reprieve to their romance was good while it lasted. It becomes threatened again. Errrrrr! How frustrating and exciting to know what will happen next. I can honestly recommend this audiobook and I can’t wait to get the next installment ASAP! And the narrators as always do an excellent job bringing the characters and story to life. Love them.

Humor, Suspense, Angst

I feel like I’ve been waiting forever for the second book! I absolutely love this enemies to lovers book so much, although the suspense is killing me!!! I love how Wes changed for Blue. I can’t wait to see what happens next with the impending threats.
Narration was perfection!

Good but another cliffhanger !

This book kept me totally engrossed but IMO this one wasn't a 5 star like the first book. I was thrilled that finally things were working out for Blu and West then bam ....Still worth a credit there is no way I'm not listening to book 3 when available ❤❤❤
