Only got this book as a “daily deal” from audible, and I’m so glad I did. Totally unpredictable in the best way. Literally everything at the last 10 minutes absolutely will blow your mind.

A really good book until the last two chapters. No spoilers!
Jennifer Pickens narration is excellent!
Meghan Joyce Tozer can write! and I am looking forward to her next work.
But this one had an unnecessary, unnecessarily gimmicky ending that was not at all satisfying.

twist saved it for me
This story seemed similar to another book. Perhaps the great narration made me jump to conclusions of the other story. Parts were disturbing for me and may cause triggers for others. The ending was a redeeming, amazingly thoughtful twist.

Strong Start, weak ending
