About this listen

Mark Taylor discovers first hand that no good deed goes unpunished when the old camera he found during a freelance job in an Afghanistan bazaar gives him more than great photos. It triggers dreams of disasters. Tragedies that happen exactly as he envisions them. He learns that not only can he see the future, he can change it. Then the unthinkable happened and everyone ignored his frantic warnings. Thousands die. Suddenly, the Feds are pounding on his door and the name they have for Taylor isn't urban hero. It's enemy combatant. And, it means they can do anything they want to him. Anything at all.

Enjoyed this book as much as the prequel

Got into this book right after the prequel and it didn't disappoint. Great narration and am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Narration makes this book

What would you do if you could prevent 911 from happening and no one believes you? Mark Taylor is the tormented protagonist who is so real due to the inflection of voice by Daniel Penz.

Not bad

The story was not bad. Although it was a little long and boring in spots.
The narrator was good except when he would whisper he would whisper so quietly that I couldn't understand what he was saying. I would turn volume up only to be blown away when his voice became louder.

A wonderful fantasy Thriller

first of all the narrator is spectacular. Second of all I love the storyline because it's so creative. I like stories that I can't predict the ending as this one.

loved the suspense

i admit the beginning part was hard to focus on but expertly builds compassion for the main character.

Perfect title

No good deed goes unpunished is one of my husband's favorite sayings. McDonald brings the title to life. Just a bit of paranormal with a special camera and off we go on an adventure I just couldn't set down. Off to find the second in this series. Bye now.

looking forward to a whole series.

I really enjoyed this book; had trouble putting it down. But I had to keep re-winding to hear the narrator. Excellent readerexcept there was such a wide variation in volume that I had to keep turning the sound up and down. Narrator should learn to speak softly without actually whispering.

No Good Deed

This was a good book, once you get past the torture.Described in every little detail I found it a bit much. While I enjoy Daniel Pentz narration,I was put off by the extra drama thrown into this book. The sudden shouting came across way too loud after an even keel for so long. The storyline.A camera shows pictures of the future to 1 man and no one believes him.Mr Taylor is tossed in the brig and held without charges or trial after predicting 9/11.I am anticipating the series.Hopefully Mr Taylor is calmed down through the rest.
