Desperately needed an editor!
Third person omniscient would tell the reader something, which was almost immediately repeated in dialogue by a character.
Almost stopped reading when the phrase “marijuana joint” was used five times in a single paragraph.
Kevin rolled a marijuana joint, lit the marijuana joint, he hands the joint (not the “marijuana joint” this time) to Victor, who takes a couple hits and hands Jessie the marijuana joint, and they each take a couple more hits from the marijuana joint before Kevin puts the marijuana joint out.
The story’s OK, but I kept losing track of it in the Dickensian excess verbage.

A good thriller
Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained is a thrilling ride of a story that had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. The unique personalities of the five main characters, combined with the excellent narration by Martin Landry, made for a truly unforgettable experience. The author, Brennen Tammons does a fantastic job of creating a suspenseful and action-packed plot, filled with twists and turns that kept me guessing until the very end. Highly recommended for anyone who loves a good thriller!

Incredible length and fun to listen to
There was just all kinds of stuff in here. Interesting characters, different story line, quite the adventure. Definitely got my money's worth. Loved the different voices too. I look forward to listening to another project by the author
