Publisher's summary

A lone man sat at a table by a window in the Dickens Room of the Tip Top Inn, Chicago. He had finished his dinner and was apparently waiting for his black coffee to be served.

Two men entered and were shown to a table nearby. Presently one of them glanced at the man by the window.

"See that man over there?" he whispered to his companion.

"Yes," said the latter, looking disinterestedly in the direction indicated.

"Well, that is Obvious Adams."

It’s actually well titled

I like the simplicity, but I don’t know how many people would enjoy that, but really it is that easy it is that obvious
I enjoyed it

Great read and quite inspiring!

Great read and quite inspiring! A theme I notice in almost all the stories of successful people is their emphasis on the necessity of mind labor, which they all say is the one thing people hate to do.

Good Book.

Very entertaining!! Tough to get the point of the story. Maybe I have to listen again. Art of profitability, mentions this book, and says listen 3 times in 3 days.

Suggested Book

I chose this book as it was suggested from a different book, How to Become a CEO. Decent enough as it is, Obvious Adams; Quick, easy read.

A powerful reminder that there is no sexy quick fix.

As a marketing director, you are constantly bombarded with these sexy, complex ideas and marketing tactics. This book is a reminder to do what is obvious. Stop looking for the silver bullet, and start doing what is right in front of you. People are just people. That’s it.
